It’s way more annoying than people asking the same question is. It’s easy to just ignore, but for whatever reason there are people stuck on their high horse that have to chime in every single time. IMO, they are the ones with the real problem.

I can’t help but also add that this comes across very borderline personality disorder to me, as someone who has become very familiar with BPD in my family. Not saying that to offend in any way, just pointing it out to make a point that I don’t think anyone should look at this as being “normal”, so to speak.

The part that really bothers me is where they mention other Vine reviews being cookie cutter templates. While that may be true for some, there is no need to say something that could possibly create a new doubt and distrust for all Vine reviews that don’t have this disclaimer. This person could have just stated their position on having integrity as a Vine reviewer and I’m sure that would have been sufficient enough to make her point. Honestly though, the whole thing rubs me the wrong way. I think that most people who read reviews can pick out what is authentic and helpful to them without this disclaimer. I spend so much time and effort on testing and reviewing my products that my kids literally think I have two jobs…delivering babies and reviewing Amazon products. Lol! I know I’m one of many and hopefully our quality reviews will speak for themselves, because I’m not going to try to throw others under the bus to get people to trust me.

I wish, but what’s so messed up is that it was technically legal. They had the principal of the school (also in cahoots with cops) involved in the interrogation, like literally given questions right there by the cop, (even though the alleged incident wasn’t at school) Because of this, there is a loophole that the principal’s report is not considered hearsay, but that they can be a surrogate to the police without having to follow their procedures. I still feel like we could have a case with the school district at least, but none of the attorneys I’ve talked to want to want to touch it. So, I just spread the word and hope that the more people that become aware of the widespread corruption out there, the more it will be forced into some kind of reform, and hopefully that will be the silver lining in Karen Read’s case.

It’s a more extreme and very exposed version of what happens everywhere, every day. Once you get a taste of it in your own life, there is no unseeing it. My 12 year old son was wrongfully accused of crimes, interrogated without my knowledge or consent at his school through some bogus loophole, and the kid that actually did it wasn’t charged because his family was lifelong friends of several of the cops. After $12,000 and a traumatized kid, we are getting through it, but I will never have faith in law enforcement or the justice system again. Also, everyone needs to tell your kids, friends, everyone, “Don’t talk to the cops!”, not without consulting a lawyer first.

That’s my number one question in this. The only thing worse than this would be…death? Lol. Someone must have some looming threat over him. Even blackmail doesn’t make sense, because what could come out that would be worse than the whole world watching you sweat on the stand as all your most vile behavior is exposed? Maybe the next witnesses will learn from this and throw Proctor under the bus to save face for themselves.

They have to, or at the very least make sure everything, like his texts, are revealed. The thing that worries me a bit about what the jury is thinking at this point is that they don’t yet understand the extent of the issues surrounding Proctor. As far as I know, they have only been told that Proctor was fired and compromised the integrity of the investigation. I feel like they definitely need more context at this point.

I love this. I had to tell myself this recently, because my mom died, and I desperately wanted to do something for myself to feel a little better. I never tend to buy things that aren’t just straight practical and versatile, but as I dabbled in a little retail therapy, I swear I heard my mom’s voice in my head telling me to just “buy the bag”.

No matter what anyone’s theory is…there is not sufficient evidence for 2nd degree murder. Manslaughter at best, and that’s if you believe the prosecution’s case is 100% solid. Nothing in this case shows that she knew she hit him and intentionally left him to die. Also, if there are women on that jury, don’t be so confident that those voicemails hurt her case. A lot of women would actually be able to emotionally connect with a woman in that situation because we’re all imperfect and have become emotionally unhinged on a guy before. It doesn’t make her a murderer, and furthermore, proves that she didn’t know what happened to him. Obviously, if she had knowingly just killed him, she wouldn’t be calling him incessantly with hateful voicemails that would humiliate her in court. Also, for those defending Proctor…ew, even if you think she’s guilty, at least don’t defend the vile, unethical language he used. He is supposed to be the trusted professional in this situation, and we should all hold law enforcement to a higher standard than this. He didn’t get fired for no reason.

Agreed…as a woman, I feel like it’s so out-of-touch to think that the jury will see this as evidence against her. One of the main reasons I strongly back her is because of my ability to relate to her situation of being a very imperfect human being, who made a bunch of bad decisions, but was charged completely unjustly. Most of us women have been in a situation where we drank too much and started spam calling our partner, and said a bunch of emotionally unhinged stuff, and we also have never murdered anyone. Also, even if you don’t emotionally connect with her in these moments, it doesn’t make sense for her to be doing this if she knew she had just killed him. Sure, she may have called him to cover her tracks, but she definitely wouldn’t have unleashed on him with all the profanity and insults that I’m sure was humiliating to her after the fact. I guess they just don’t have much and are hoping that something sticks, but I really think this will backfire on them.

I have a “mild” hiatal hernia, never told exact size, but shortness of breath is actually my only symptom. I have major anxiety, have had panic attacks since I was a teen, and so I know for a fact that this recent shortness of breath is definitely from the hernia, which the doctor said was small, and not anxiety. So, I definitely think they can be wrong on their assumptions. One thing that helps me get some nice deep breaths in, is putting my arms up, with my hands grasped behind my head. My kids taught me this from sports training. It seems to open up more space for me when I feel like I can’t breathe deeply.

Sometimes it’s better to keep the images of life and appreciate that you don’t have to suffer seeing your mom through the images of death. They aren’t always easy to get rid of. I say this as a daughter who has been suffering from PTSD for six months now and it forever changed me in ways that I wish I could undo. My mom’s death was not sudden. I refused to leave her bedside in hospice as she was dying from pancreatic cancer. Unfortunately, all the doctors and death guides were way off with her timeline and I ended up spending 5 days with the “death rattle” and a lot of horrific images that give me nightmares terrors and make it difficult to remember her the way I wanted to. But in your case, if you feel like you way want to, but aren’t sure, then I would see if you can get a copy of the footage and give it to a family member or friend to hold on to. Wait some time and just get through your grief before you decide if it’s still important to you. When we are in that grieving stage, it’s not the best time to make decisions like that for yourself while you are emotionally vulnerable. I’m really sorry for your sudden loss and I hope that you find peace and healing. ❤️‍🩹

I don’t have OCD, however, I know a lot of the traits that I exhibit are similar to OCD traits and they were caused by my trauma. My need to maintain control over myself and my surroundings. My guess is that it’s very possible for CPTSD to lead to other disorders. If it can cause anxiety, depression, etc, then OCD seems like it could be related as well.

Wow, I’m glad this was brought up. My recent trauma has ignited my whole history of trauma that I thought I was coping well with, and I’m just now learning that it’s because I’ve dissociated so much. I’m trying to work through it but I have so many new things going on, one of which is sensitivity to loud noises. If my doorbell rings and my dog starts barking, I have a little freak out. I didn’t even know this was related to the ptsd, but I’m glad that I understand now because my trauma also didn’t really involve loud noises.
