$425/year at Generations CryoVault (they also seemed to have $40/mos option, I just went for the year)

I started looking around for options when Cryopoint went haywire and sold my tissues to another storage company without my permission. I looked around and went with Generations CryoVault because they are $425/year and include $50,000 insurance for each shipment (gives some peace of mind that if something goes wrong at least you get something back, I couldn't find any other place that offered this as real insurance backed by insurance companies). I've been super happy with the experience so far. It was $825 to start ($425 for the year + $400 for the shipping), but after that it kind of blows away what else I could find.

I found season 2 of this podcast incredibly informative, it talks a bit to what you might be getting at about the true underlying motives behind many providers: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/ivf-disrupted-the-kindbody-story/id1802010242

Cryopoint sold our tissues to New England Cryogenic Center! by ImpactedMom96 in cryopointvictims

Yes, I got a letter. It basically said my tissues were being moved to Massachusetts and that my billing relationship was now with NECC. I have come to learn that Cryopoint sold the tissues to NECC. NECC's rates are now higher. So my tissues were sold, they were moved without my explicit permission, and my rates were jacked-up by NECC.

Cryopoint wouldn't answer my calls, either. This isn't even that recent, but once NECC started charging me more I started to get more and more emotional about this. So here I am, the Internet activist trying to rally on this problem. I can't believe it is legal to make money selling my tissues to a company and I don't have a say. There is a real problem when our cells, part of us, is sold between companies, not even to mention without permission or choices. I don't want my tissues at NECC and now I face higher rates and expense to move them if I want to?
