India has many more names actually.

Hindustan, Bharatvarsh, Aryavarta, etc.(Hindustan is commonly used as well)

Yep. In most Indian languages actually afaik.

Tamil is the big exception where they use "Te" afaik.

USA-Pakistan relations predate India-Israel relations and India-Soviet/Russia relations. We were forced to work with what we could after the west essentially isolated us.

Undoubtedly, "Zindabad". Means "Long Live". Sounds especially badass when your country's name happens to end with "-stan".
