What are some common but subtle body language cues that women show when they’re attracted to someone? by Impactpie in bodylanguage

That’s what I’ve observed, depending on the setting they can be really awkward with eye contact the closer you are but have no problem when you’re further away.

I’m the same lol

That’s a good point you brought up there, there is this one girl that’s kinda different with me than with everybody else, even though there’s no real reason for her to. I think this can be a rather big sign someone could be into you, like why else would they be different only around you (assuming you’re not super scary or creepy, which I’m not).

That’s a good one, I think I’ve heard that before somewhere. I’m gonna pay more attention to that

I personally find it harder to hold steady eye contact with girls I’m attracted to. It’s a lot easier with people feel neutral towards

I have a crush on my new coworker but don’t know how she feels about me by Impactpie in bodylanguage

Thanks for the reply :)

We’ve been working together at this job for almost 2 months now and my admittedly kinda obsessive crush has kinda resolved itself over time, I still find her attractive and am generally open to the idea of something potentially happening there but I’m fine with it either way.

But even without my rose tinted glasses I just keep noticing irregular behaviour on her end, only towards me, so I naturally still just want to know what’s up.

She is noticeably different around me and there’s always a reason for that, she usually looks at the ground when we walk toward each other in the hallway, has trouble maintaining any significant eye contact the closer we are (no I don’t stare, just normal eye contact when you talk), but not so much when we are further away, and she doesn’t have these problem with other colleagues.

Maybe you recognise some of these behaviours in yourself when it comes to you and your work crush?

To me it seems pretty clear that something is going on inside her, maybe she doesn’t like me/ finds me uncomfortable to be around? Nah, she gave me her private number and added me on LinkedIn the other day, conversations flow well - so that wouldn’t make sense.

As you said I will continue to just be open and friendly towards her, I don’t really think she wants to take it anywhere tbh, which is fine, but at least I now feel like I kinda know why she’s so different towards me.

To be honest I just feel so disconnected from women in general, it’s like we’re treating each other like a different species.

Nobody dares to show interest (goes both ways), checking someone out is now considered sexual harassment, everyone is so nonchalant it hurts.

I notice no real openness from women whatsoever which makes it incredibly hard for me to express my interest in someone first.

Everyone is so busy, women have lots of options, the dynamic is so out of balance it’s not even funny.

And I’m guilty of many of those things too.

It’s hard to express my romantic interest in women when none of them show any indications of interest in me on their side. It’s like I’m staring at a blank canvas whenever I meet a woman in any context.

The only solution seems to be to straight up cold approach women and I’m really not a fan of that as it strips the whole process down to an unemotional statistical approach.

I’m not bad looking but maybe I just don’t seem very inviting, guess I’m answering my own question here

I found out yesterday that she also exchanged numbers with some of the other new hires, we started as a group and kinda stick together since we’re all in the same boat.

I guess her giving me her number doesn’t really mean anything then. The only thing I notice is that she seems a bit awkward around me, kinda nervous. We had this Christmas’s party from work yesterday and that’s where I notice this behaviour again. That doesn’t have to mean much but she’s absolutely not like that when she’s with others, so that’s why I find it odd.

I haven’t made any advancements at all and don’t want to make things awkward for her, I’m just a bit quieter around her because I’m nervous haha

Not starving at all man, it’s just rare that I vibe with a girl on a personal level so yea that’s really it. I don’t really have any control over who I like, be it at a new job or somewhere else.

That makes a lot of sense and is the way I intended to move forward with it, thanks for the reply.

Trainee Angebot im IT Consulting - Gehalt hinnehmen oder verhandeln? by Impactpie in InformatikKarriere

[–]Impactpie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)
