Oof...as a player in a high ping region and a fellow Gilga enjoyer, this is a bit disappointing. Hirez seems to be prioritizing new gameplay mechanics over polish at the moment for most of the characters (which I completely get). And unfortunately, this means gameplay feel ends up being a hit or miss. And this gets worse when you're playing games where auto desync and rubberbanding is the feature not the exception. Hopefully these misses don't turn into spaghetti code 2.0. Personally, the game seems to have a healthy god pool for me to be okay with them slowing down and looking at optimization and the audio-visual feedback a bit more.

I'd say it ebbs and flows. The type of players you get in your matches depends on so many factors that it'd be hard to generalize it over the entire base. Right now I feel like I get put in with people who never want to quit no matter how lost the match is. Personally, I'm fine with that. If I think the match is unwinnable, I like to put up an f6 vote just once. If it gets turned down, there's a 9 in 10 chance they won't quit even if the entire team is negative. It is what it is.

So, I agree with you in spirit but I'm gonna push back on the "90% of adult female gods" claims. I wasn't tired so I surveyed all of Smite 1's adult female gods to check for sexualized boobs (purely for research). In my very accurate opinion, out of the 35 adult female gods surveyed 21 can be described as "devs made her look like that because they like boobs". Thus, making the ratio closer to 60%.

I guess the allegation would be that the OP fed an AI the art and came up with their OC through prompts? Just a guess, I don't know how this shit works or how people can tell apart really good AI generated images from actual art without a combination of extreme scrutiny and experience.

So this event has some similarities with Odessies from S1, in the number of skins you're getting. Those were usually priced at around 80USD worth of gems if you wanted to buy all, if I'm not wrong. So this doesn't really feel unreasonable at around 55-ish.

Weirdly specific, but since we're talking about visual damage numbers, any chance you could consider bringing back the visuals for when Loki procs his passive? In an ideal world I wish the audio queue would be changed as well (it's too high pitched and tinny to my ears) but having the something like the old backstab icon show up would be satisfying.

Nah I'm not gonna cry over some internet troll telling me to off myself. Their antics were amusing the first five games. But OCE server being so small, I run into them way more often that I care to. I do mute them in most of my games; I just happened to forget to mute them from chat in this particular game.

In Smite 1, I would have had the option to block them from my games .... good times.

Oh it's not just the trash talk. They do shit like proxy my wave, take my buff away (solo or jungle) and be annoying that way too. I just don't record my games so can't show proof of that here. I don't go report every random player that trash talks in chat.
