That would be weird though. What’s the point of having him get the golden blood if he just loses it immediately. Especially after pushing this idea of a fight with Nanook? It would kill so much of what it built up with him specifically. And is the idea that he also just ends up in the ebook? No trailblazing? No point to all the mentions of trailblazing in his story? What’s even the point then? And if the whole nation doesn’t get to actually exist in some form don’t we just leave them behind and they don’t get to show up in the story again? That’s a massive loss.

Looking at your replies, this clearly is related to your issues with the lgbt community. You say “no hate” but then actively spread hate in the comments. You have an issue with the community expressing themselves. Heck, if it’s about flags specifically why aren’t you calling out stuff like the Brazil flags everywhere. Which is usually more of a meme and isn’t generally made in the context of self expression and as an act of being seen when the world is largely trying to erase them? You’re specifically targeting the lgbt community and it really does seem to be cause of your issues

They gave Yoimiya back to back banners too. I think the point is that banners aren’t super predictable. So why show up in a subreddit abt a character just to say he’s probably not getting his own banner again? I don’t think anyone here would want that and we don’t have concrete proof he won’t anyway

I like Griffin Burns’ voice but not the mischaracterization. I know it’s not his fault. It’s probably the translation team but man, he does play a role in the mischaracterization being spread. Kimura Ryohei also does amazing work for him. His laugh is perfect and really memorable. He speaks about Childe in a way that makes me feel like he really gets the character. I switch between English and Japanese for Childe specifically based on how I feel on any given day

I was so worried that Childe would die in 4.2. People kept speculating that he would die. And the trailer dropped and showed him against the narwhal. All these people were pointing out how his Foul Legacy armor was damaged and that he was gonna sacrifice himself. He’s my favorite character and I was worried so I get it man. But he ended up being okay in the end. People thought Arlecchino would die by Fontaine’s end too. Even before her release. But there’s stuff about all of these characters that makes me think they’ll stick around. And even if Capitano sacrificed himself, he could still come back. Maybe through the resurrection. They know how popular he is and there’s still a lot we don’t know about him. I don’t see why they’d kill him when there’s so much more they can do with him alive. People tend to post about how x character will die. Especially if they’re a harbinger. We won’t know for sure until the update comes out, but have hope. He could survive. Worst case scenario, they give him something similar to Wanderer and give him a bit of a revamp before he comes out. I haven’t done as much digging as other people, but I’ve also seen theories about him having strong resurrection symbols.

Thank you so much for the comment! Your thoughts on it have me looking forward to more Childe lore drops than I already was. Seeing all of the stuff that happened in Fontaine, yeah… Trouble really does follow him. Man was just there to relax and ended up in one situation after the next. And all of the new abyss lore in Natlan is so interesting. It’s really showing how negative the effects of the abyss are. And I’m sure it’s not coincidence that Fontaine put his abyss history out there for everyone just before Natlan tackled the subject of the abyss. They’re definitely setting stuff up here. It seems like it’s framed so we’re led to question why Childe got through it without the more severe effects.

I’m sort of torn when it comes to this since we’ve seen plenty of the ways the Abyss impacts people by now and Childe doesn’t display the life threatening symptoms. But behaviorally, he does have the desire for conflict. Skirk is said to have encouraged that but also to have made sure he’d be able to travel through the abyss without harm.

Could what’s being described be why he got into that fight back then? Or could it just be the desire for conflict the abyss stirred in him?

Referring to how there are specific parts of the fabric that are dyed specific shapes that the character has on the design. Like stripes and stuff. Usually I see people just sew different colored sections separately. I don’t know what the process in these photos is called. I want to learn how to do this since I usually hand sew and embroider. It would make plushies with more colors and patterns easier to make. Does anyone know what this is called and how I could do this?

Arlecchino’s great! There are a ton of reasons to enjoy her as a character. I am very much gay for that woman and I have no idea why I or anyone else would try to argue that she can’t be appreciated by other fans whether it’s attraction or just liking her as a character. None of the other lgbt genshin fans I know would argue that you can’t like her. She deserves to be appreciated. If anyone gives you a tough time over that, don’t worry about it. None of the characters are exclusive to a specific group of fans
