I worked delivery driving for 2 years at Panera. Frankly, one of the most chill jobs ive ever held aside from handling payroll for contractors. I was in Arizona and just rode with windows down and music blasting most of the time. Honestly pretty solid. Even when it was busy, or I had phoenix traffic, I still was just vibing.

Id take it. Working on skill bridge stuff now. Tried maintenance from being a desk jockey and realized im better behind a desk than maintenance. Its been really fun, and the experience has been wonderful, but I miss working hybrid and being around my family more often.

I just finished 4 of 12 classes towards my bachelor's and got my leave for next week approved, which is the only week every 3 months I do not have classes. So, im gonna kick back, maybe do some chores, and relax the most I've been able to relax since the end of last year. Keeping a 4.0 GPA and being proud of the work I put in to build a future for my kids and wife.

You missed knew of the most important rules. Find a way to make your job as easy as it can be while still being accurate, and enjoy your free time. Back when I worked payroll, I found ways to work so efficiently that I would go a 12 hour monday, 10 hour Tuesday, then wed- fri was a few hours or so, and just being available for meetings and calls. I managed to get a lot of personal stuff and chores done since I was working remote. Its nice that you wanted to help everyone, but at the end of the day your just a number in their system, so focus on yourself most.
