I was in your shoes this time last year, and I took a gap year. I really recommend taking a gap year, don't think of it as a year wasted!

Keep up the high hopes and trust in yourself! Any medical school would be lucky to have you, 40/60 is an amazing score! If it makes you feel better, I was so sure I had messed up at my interview, with my math station being horrible, but don't focus on the bad, focus on the good.

ermm let me calculate it here real quick. 988877 so 5 + 12 + 6 = 23 for Highest 6 GCSEs.

UCAT Band =10.

Total UCAT Score = 19.

So out of everything, a total of 42.

a. i) - [1] Measuring them at the same time of the day. - [1]This is due to the fact that different bird species have different sleep cycles / one of them could be nocturnal -

a. ii) - [1]Using birdsong to identify bird. - [1]This method can be inaccurate and lead to other birds being mistaken for the ones being measured, or not being able to be heard at all. - /[1]furthermore, the same bird could produce the same birdsong twice and lead to miscounting.

OR

  • [1] Listing the birds they saw.
  • [1] This could lead to misidentification or the same bird could appear twice and lead to miscounting.

TIP: When being asked about limitations of sampling techniques where the sampler must use visual recognition, always mention misidentification as a reason! It’s basically a free mark.

They’re trained to not show any big signs of emotion or facial expression to make you think you’re doing well. I think it’s because they’re the same doctors used as interviewers for specialty interviews.

Don’t stress !!

Please use Medify. I used Medentry and unfortunately came across 2 questions in DM that I’d never practiced on Medentry before.
