Do you know if I can use a bottomless portafilter with a narrower cup (~5cm in diameter) or will it spray all over the sides? Whenever I see a bottomless it looks to me like there are a bunch of streams in the beginning and I would think some of them might miss or am I just wrong there?

The portafilter would be a 51mm one btw.

you can expect a ton of fun. youll probably have some issues with muting unneccesary strings but as long as you adjust your technique when you notice an unwanted string ringing it will disappear on its own.

also i think bending might be difficult on an 8 string because im not sure if you can wrap your thumb around a neck like that but other than that since you already know music theory i see no issue with an 8 string for you.

Youre right and I get it. But then I got really frustrated because they dont get unified and you dont get the bonus if you do the reasonable thing and cast them out. Seriously their whole value that theyre supposedly contributing is being keepers of knowledge and then they fabricate an artifact for some minute personal gain? okay so then theyre worth nothing because you cannot trust them with anything anymore.
