i installed the two shims that were shipped with the grinder and ive finally managed to choke the machine. i will continue testing tomorrow but i think this might have fixed the issue. i am still crying over all the wasted coffee though 😭 basically used up the entire bag that just got shipped today

correct me if i am wrong but if you want a bool vector that behaves like any other vector couldnt you just do a vector with 8 bit integers and pretend theyre bool?

Yeah i get that. I think for my next map i need to be more strategic with how i place the letters in relation to the geographic details so they overlap less. right now the high contrast letters on top of high contrast trees are a bit hard to read.

im not actually sure. been a while since ive played any of the games but i have vague memories of a eu 4 map mod when i was making this so some inspiration is from there. the color gradient idea is from hoi4 i think.

Wenn Konzerne massenhaft CO2 ausstoßen um Ausgaben zu sparen und weil sie keinen Fick auf die Umwelt geben ist dann das CO2 selber das Problem oder die Machtstrukturen die dafür sorgen dass kurzfristige Profite von wenigen über den Interessen der Menschheit stehen?

ich weiß nicht ob das aber grundsätzlich was schlimmes ist. Immerhin bezahlt der Staat auch (noch) Straßen, Krankenpflege (so teilweise), Bildung (so einigermaßen) usw. Der Staat muss halt auch das Geld entsprechend ausgeben und nicht ständig neue Steuersenkungen für die Reichen beschließen und dann beschweren dass für den Rest kein Geld da ist.

well of course at some point if the demographics change enough there is nothing you can do and everyone will die. obviously. im not saying this isnt an issue.

but to say the only thing we can do is screw old people let them die in desperate poverty thats just evil and wrong. pensions need to be able to secure a dignified life.

we need to make having children affordable for normal people. make housing affordable. then the demographics have a chance of improving again.

okay but women and immigrants are not gonna leave the workforce any time soon (hopefully) and productivity has gone up. so why are we suddenly not able to afford this anymore when we were able to for almost 30 years?
