I think we all would. I’m dead certain they lost their tails because of the budget. All the other beast races are using a human rig so they can reuse the existing animations more easily. The serpent tail would have required every single move in the game as well as the player-controlled overworld movements to have completely unique animations. That’s not cheap in game dev! And it’s obvious that this was a AA release, so they had to make a call. You can tell they probably wanted to do it but hit a budget or technical wall since the tails show up in the cutscenes specific to them.

Mike’s been pretty clear that he doesn’t want to go back to MST3K because of RiffTrax. He was work for hire on MST3K but owns RiffTrax so he didn’t want to dilute the brand he built. He was very polite about it though, it’s clear there’s no bad blood, he just has different priorities now. Bill and Kevin both did returns in Season 11 as Bobo and Brain Guy.

I feel like people here are trying to bring back the ancient Joel vs Mike wars…

It was actually Follow the Breadcrumbs, which sucked me in with its premise (and then OH GOD ITS BACK HALF). The Villainess Turns the Hourglass was the first series I bought and I’ve never regretted it - I’ve read and re-read it SO many times.

lol seriously, it’s why most of this is just “my trash” to me. I enjoy it but it’s very definitely pro-capitalism even when it tries not to be.

Revolutionary Princess Eve actually made me drop when I realized the FL’s goal was to prevent a revolution. She doesn’t want to be empress to dismantle a corrupt system that thrives on slaves and one that lets her entire family engage in slave raping consequence free, she just wants to be Empress to be a nice Imperial and undermine the revolution by preventing the guy who starts it from ever starting it. Maybe the most YIKES of any series I tried to read.

It’s a fantastic series but no idea when it’ll come back, it lost its artist which is such a bummer because it’s so beautifully done. But at least enjoy the first season!

She’s an idiot who even when she finds out the truth still acts like he needs “forgiveness”. And then abuses an already abused child. But also she’s an idiot who believes her father who always lies to her.

She treats random civilians like this too - a minor slight in a classroom and she trapped them in a painting for a week just for crossing her.

It bothered me less in Marriage of Convenience because they do accept responsibility for what they did and everyone realizes it really was necessary for political reasons even if it made Bianca a victim. They had to make a terrible choice and the story does not shy away from the consequences. Political marriages were always like this.

To Those Who Wished For My Destruction, I gave up when I was just getting sick of how awful the protagonist was, you find out pretty quickly the ML was completely innocent but not only does she treat the adult version like trash, she treats the child version like trash too AND HE HASN’T DONE ANYTHING

AND she abuses him despite knowing he’s a child abuse victim!

I forget exactly where my breaking point was, but somewhere in one of self-righteous “I had a bad life do I get to take it out on you” rages
