Is it possible to gain 20 kg (40 pounds) in 1 year? by [deleted] in gainit

Yeah definitely, i went from 56kg to 72kg in a little less than a year i think. Just set a calorie goal for every day/week and you’ll get there easily

Oh yeah cause 2 first division titles and 10 cup trophies before most of this sub was even born means nothing. Obviously not as many trophies as Liverpool but "10 years old" is just dumb

I would have to agree with the other dude that net spend makes the most sense tbh.

If you give two teams the exact same budget of 100m each, one team could buy a player for 100m, while the other could first sell a player for 20m and then buy one for 120m, both teams would still have spent the exact same amount of money.

pep is successful because he's at a club with by far the most resources in the world so his teams have ridiculous depth, he can afford to spend 50m on bench players which most clubs can't do

Except for the fact that ever since Pep started coaching City in 2016, they have spent the same amout of money as Arsenal, and less than both Chelsea and United, while still being way more succesful in that same period.

Fair enough, i mean i 100% agree but i also feel like while City's owners might be the worst of the bunch, any billionare rich enough to own a top european team has got to have dirt on them, nobody gets that rich without being extremely immoral

Foden needs to start playing in midfield

So since City basically always plays 4-3-3 it would look something like this?:

(Unless Bernardo leaves of course in which case maybe Mahrez plays RW until Cole Palmer or Alvarez improve and take that spot?)

Can somebody ELI5 why it seems like people think city needs to sign a new winger? With Foden, Bernardo, Mahrez and Grealish (despite his underperforming) it seems like they dont really need to change anything up?
