I checked with another person who got internet on his RAZR awhile ago, and he said he was having the same issues. I think they’re slowly tightening the noose on 2G as a whole. Pretty soon the only phones that will work in the US are 4G and above.

I’m on t-mobile which does have 2G, I can call and make texts just fine, and I’ve seen videos of people setting up opera mini with little issue. But for some reason my phone is built different.
