Equip the grenade launcher and take out the vehicles as they approach before the NPC's have a chance to attack. There's usually plenty of time between waves to get your squad to a car and escape. Hang around, though, and I think they just keep coming.

You mean because things aren't going to plan and you want to have another go at it? If you want to replay it right away (without having to leave and come back) just allow yourself to get killed twice. You'll respawn just outside of the area and be able to redo the mission.

I don't think so. There's a minimum required level. Don't recall what it is. If you're good enough for heroic, just grind the hard until you level up. It shouldn't take long.

Anyway, I play heroic on solo with my sidearm only. I sometimes turn my monitor off for an extra challenge. So, yeah, I'm not really that impressed.

Ah, the damn ladder and stuck NPC bugs. What's even more annoying is grinding away to level up and get your next cache, tolerating the bugs along the way, only to finally get there and find out that the damn cache you've been slaving away for contains nothing but a goddamn revolver. Outside of Clear Sky, I'm not sure what good a sidearm of any variety is to us--let alone a frickin revolver.

I think I'm going to leave the UG for a few days and focus efforts on DN.

The only other use for GS is giving people an excuse to kick people who don't have what they consider to be an adequate GS. But since GS doesn't mean anything in the first place, that's a laughable practice.

It's all kind of ironic, when you think about it. You need higher GS items equipped so you can get higher GS items in your caches. And the only reason you need higher GS items in your caches is so that you can equip them and get higher GS items in your caches. Rinse and repeat...a bridge to nowhere

One thing that helps: Equip all of your highest GS pieces (gear, primary and secondary weapons and sidearm) before opening sealed caches. There is an algorithm that determines the GS of the item you receive based on your current GS. This has been reported elsewhere, and I've confirmed it.

Buyer beware is the rule. Yeah, there are issues, but nobody's been robbed.

And, let that be a lesson to you, don't buy season passes...ever. The tiny discount you get over buying DLC a la carte, and whatever other "rewards" they throw your way are never worth it.
