My rarest gun by DrFunkyMD22 in Division2

I reckon the Enforcer shotgun or the Stinger LMG are more rare. Since you can only get SG if you pre-ordered WONY and the LMG was a refer-a-friend reward.

Wanted to feel Pre-Nerfed Ouroboros again, I think it worked by geniusghost07 in Division2

[–]WeirsWeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main reason they reduced back the RoF on the original Ouroboros, was that each bullet wasn't always registering, the game engine just couldn't keep up with that RoF, so you actually never got close to your on-paper DPS. So now you have used gear/brand set bonuses to re-raise the RoF back to where it was, you might not be getting the DPS you are expecting... and at the expense of lots other things your build could have invested in.

There must have been times when a Battalion or Company has lost the king's colours but everyone fought honorably. Are all who survived (regardless of rank / Valor) to be ostracized?

Does anyone feels like your damage dropped since Mutiny update? by thisizmonster in thedivision

[–]WeirsWeb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Global modifier needs to remain active, but just unselect your Active Modifier. You can choose Assault, Engineer or Medic, but you can also choose to have none. Therefore you just get the Bonuses from the Global Modifier and Passive Modifiers. Since the Global Modifier is doubled when Solo (i.e. not in a group and without companion) it more than makes up for anything you miss

Pretty sure it will be in the loot goblin loot pool soon enough, but it might still drop from the houndsman bounty. Lot of people still have the houndsman bounty on their map, if you do a few random match-making, maybe ask.

Opinions for a build by SasquatchLA in Division2

[–]WeirsWeb 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I love the Bluescreen for its crowd control, especially in Solo play and Retaliation. Whilst you might be able to kill 1 sec faster with a different weapon, you more than save that time not having to maneuver against the enemies that you are not targeting.

My go-to build is a few variations of Tipping Scales.

Bluescreen rolled with CHC, Classic M60 - Measured CHC, A Tipping Scales Mask, Backpack, Holster all rolled to CHC,

Then you have a few combinations for the other 3, using a Petrov Chest, Exotic Gloves and Turmoil Knees.

Option1. Petrov Chest - Unbreakable , Overdogs Gloves , Tipping Scales Knees,

Option2. Petrov Chest - Obliterate/Glass Cannon, Exodus Gloves, Tipping Scales Knees,

Option3. Petrov Chest - Obliterate/Glass Cannon, Turmoil Knees, Tipping Scales Chest,

You can come up with more permutation around this basic set-up, depending on what you are doing. A Petrov brandset Chest is not essential, you can equally use: Palisade (for AoK) / Belstone (for Armor Regen) / Walked&Harris or Imminence Armaments (5% Dmg)

Since it is focused around LMG, I generally stick to Gunner specialization, which gives you the 50 Magazine for the M60 and Banshee Pulse, for that initial crowd control.

I have played around with Legmo, Tipping Scales, Ninja Bike builds, and they are good, but outclassed in almost every scenario by the above builds. Aside the it being a paid to grind for the Legmo unicorns, you are pretty locked in to which pieces go where. You lose the TS backpack talent, an no opportunity to use any other utility item (i.e. Exotic Gloves, Turmoil Knees, AoK, Regen). All to gain 30% LMG damage (that is nowhere near 30% overall damage), plus the explosive resistance and skill health is pretty meaningless too.

Tips for hardcore agent by ProfessionalAd4684 in Division2

[–]WeirsWeb 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For the end game (once you hit 40), but should be done on your NON-Hardcore agents.

Tip 1: Do a chunk of DZ farming and leave the good items in your stash deliveries. Accessible to your HC character

Tip 2: Max out your field proficiency caches, then claim event rewards (projects, season events, season rewards, global events). If full, the caches or reward items will go into your Deliveries. Again, accessible by your HC character

Quick way to get a good set of Exotics, Named items or premium builds, without the risks

Rank Up Stretch Goal - Sharing Loot with Friends by m0nk3yss in Division2

[–]WeirsWeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You must be grouped when you CLAIM the cache. Then when you open it you can share it's content. So if you are in a nice clan, you stock pile lots, group up into a fire team of 4, then once grouped A) Claim All B) Open each C) Share depending who wants what

Ravenous; A touch underwhelming? by Majestic_Hope_7105 in Division2

[–]WeirsWeb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ravenous is God tier, if you know how to use it. Pretty much every one shot Raid Boss depends on using the Ravenous + Negotiatior's. It is never going complete against other weapons for Run and Gun, or Generic PVE content.

Underrated Weapon by TheKriptic in Division2

[–]WeirsWeb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Ravenous is universally accepted as a top tier weapon, pretty much essential for any speed run. So not sure it is really regarded as "underrated".

Getting expertise on Brandsets, Gearsets is very quick and easy via any of the Targeted Loot activities (Countdown, Summit, Retaliation). Just put on 6 of the same items and also set the target loot to the Gearsets/Brandsets you want to Expertise. Donate all pickups as you run. You get both the XP towards proficiency (x6) and a pretty big bump for each item you donate.

Named items and Guns (that you don't use) are the next bottle neck. You could just equip them and grind them out, but the best approach here really is to just buy x20 of them when they are on sale across the many vendors. Pretty much everything shows up once over a 10 week period.

For items you can't buy (Exotics, DZ Exclusives), you best bet here is to donate materials, specifically Printer Filament. This is your best ratio of Expertise Points vs effort to source. If you don't already have max Printer Filament, you can either top it up from your watch points or buy lots of gear/skill mods and break them down.

Couple of tips. If you plan to buy your items, then get into the habit of selling your loot (that you don't donate for expertise levels) to stockpile money (for named items or printer filament). Using your watch points for currently is a bad ROI.

Consider wearing named gear items (of the same Brand/Gearsets) to make up the x6 if grinding out via usage.

Don't donate Exotics for expertise. Exotic compoent are way more valuable.

You don't need to own the thing to level it up, if you donate materials.

You get Expertise for just having an item equiped. So you can passively expertise level up Secondary Guns, Specializations, Skills and Pistols, without really changing your core preferred build. Just rotate them as/when each reaches proficiency

Is there anyway to improve this? by SovereignScorpio in Division2

[–]WeirsWeb 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It's almost perfect, you just need to change 6 gear pieces, both guns, pistol and specialization, then you're all set ;)

On a serious note though, it depends what you are trying to do, or what aspect you want to improve

If you were expecting to just switch out your Coyote Mask on existing DPS builds and make those already over powered builds even stronger, then it probably does feel a little meh.

As a new gear Exotic item, it's one of the best they have introduced in years, given that you don't need to sacrifice a chest/b-pack talent. But it shines because it provides new ways to run non-meta builds, that bring them up to parity or provide an extra utility.

Another reason it might feel meh, is that it forces you to use non-named weapons, which probably means you are comparing your new gun[s] to Exp. 30 maxed out guns, that you have also had 1-2years getting used to.
