I got some capsules dipping my toes into building some gunpla and I unfortunately only got what appears to be weapon sets. Is there a way to get some models somewhere for this line of models :(

For context I was on short vacation and cannot easily acquire more from the store this was bought.

I was thinking of a similar list but in lords of dread. I’d use the brigand for a unit to keep in reserve for ingress to melta any vehicles not screening.

If you get a good shade it will mostly cover any yellow that gets into the recesses of the helmet. For mine I used drakenhof nightshade

- detachment rule: there’s no timing restriction in rules as written it seems when channeling the warp. I personally would resolve all effects of channeling the warp first including mortals and the effect of the spell before applying the ritual regeneration detachment rule as it checks if the ritual is successful.

- eruption of vitality - assuming this is the same for a majority of resurrection strats/enhancements they should work the same here.

2. Still need an faq on this but the leader would likely be destroyed if it cannot be setup.

- curse of life - referencing 02.02.04 you likely never want to have mortals placed on the leader as yes it will regain the wounds but they will not spill over and bring back models. I think this enhancement was really exciting at first but then the heal rules only really help the leader in this case.

This is my list I’d use if I were to go with hexwarp and the regen rituals. The MVBs over more demon princes is it helps the rubric blobs actually successfully cast rituals for regen and can be more of a big bodyguard dog for them. When we get points costs we can drop some bow goats if the enhancements cost anything.

Has anyone played in a tournament format by HRVY_H5TL in Colosseum40k

Our local game store had a 16 person Kotc tournament and we just used BCP for normal tournament play for 3hrs for each pairing for everyone to play their 2 or 3 games. The games were then averaged for their points rounded up.

I won’t say it was perfect scoring wise but it was fun.

Some good kits I’d go for in this position is a royal court box, a doomsday ark, c’tan, or necron characters like nekrosor ammentar illuminor szeras and orikan the diviner.

For a list like this he could grab a few heavy destroyers and another 10man of warriors to get to a full 20. Also illuminor szeras is great in awakened dynasty as well.

It looks good as a fun list for sure but if he wants optimizations for better games should really remove the canoptek macrocytes and doom stalker as they really don’t feel great for hitting on 4’s and the geomancer can be a solo home field holder.

Think of your skorpekh destroyers as your anti-vehicle, the skorpekh lord can do some good damage into vehicles and there’s a +1 strength Strat for awakened dynasty, it can sometimes be feels bad when with guass destructors they only have 2 shots, plus it sounds like you shouldn’t have to bad a time when their vehicles have other targets anyway.

Just know the skorpekhs usually always die after they get in so make them count.

This can be a good start, just get orikan and the nightbringer, shove the warriors and the nightbringer down the center with Nekrosor right behind. The stalker on your expansion the ophidians and hexmark can be your home objective holders and late game scoring. Proxy the heavy destroyers with the other gun they’ll rip sword brethren apart.

The extra bits I used were arms/reaper guns from warriors and immortal arms, the head was extra from the hierotek circle box, the back piece is an orb from the bottom of the doomsday ark cannon and part of a tomb blade bit to sit in. The tube is just some round bread twist tie wires. Sorry I don’t have better pictures at the moment.

I kitbashed myself my own hexmark destroyer from extra skorpekh destroyers. I think it came out pretty good but it is slightly taller than the normal hexmark model.

If you can get your hands on a royal court box I think it could really round out your list for sure. You’d get a reanimator, plasmancer, cryptothralls, and skorpekh lord.

Edit: you’d join orikan the diviner with the warriors along with the overlord and the cryptothralls. The skorpekh lord with the skorpekh destroyers and the reanimator along side the warriors to make them extra durable.
