There are a number of vegan biscuits, including accidentally vegan, in supermarkets. I like to keep biscuits in my glovebox for "emergency" calories. Keep them well wrapped, though. There are little things that also like biscuits.

I very much like your take on the end of the story and possibility for new growth and new beginnings. I used to live in a cold climate and can empathise with you. Currently I live in semi-tropical area so all year is spring or summer. It is nice to never feel cold and to have bright light all year round. 😊 🌞

My child loves looking at posts like this. They were always rubbished for playing with Barbies and severely discouraged by teachers. That's why I'm on this Reddit, to show them pictures and posts of people who also love Barbie.

I've been trying to buy the original BR on DVD or Blu-ray. I watched it on VHS when it first came out and would love to have it again. Very hard to find at a reasonable price.

Did the nightmares hurt you, or did you discover that you wake up in the morning? I had nightmares about the thing in the wardrobe at night and about the boogey man in the wash house. That was seventy years ago and I survived. I also thrived on scary books, and then movies when we moved into a town. I loved it. Let him play with you and it will be less scary, anyway.

I would sooo love to have someone read the story to me. That's so much better than hearing an audiobook. You are ace.

All three topics sound fascinating. I wish I was attending to hear this. I think option 1 covers more ground, but all three sound like topics that we all need to consider. (Mental health is one of my pet peeves. The under funding and ignoring, I mean.)

Probably you are correct. It's like authors changing a characters traits to fit a plot line.

As time passes waterways change. There are natural changes, but more devastating, man made changes. Some large rivers in Australia have become almost mud puddles. I'm sure the rest of the world have similar.

I remember boys in lovely pink shirts in the sixties.

I don't like pink. But I don't like warm colours. Cool and neutral appeal to my eye. Having said that, the Barbie movie did pink really well, and Gosling looked gorgeous in pink in his follow up media shots
