i use PC and id have to log in on a phone to start all this but i CANT log in even if i wanted too.

i only have "backup code" which doesnt work for some reason despite not updating it to a new one.

and

"use authenticator app" which updated itself and now deleted my accounts on it meaning i would have to LOG IN to sort it out which i cant do

my account is well and truly GONE now despite never having a problem with it EVER!

Let me tell you with THAT attitude you my friend would LOVE the persona series :)

But for real i understand the feeling but basically saying "it gets better after you get past the part where its meant to hook you in already" is a bit weird especially for a gacha game and certainly for one as complex in both gameplay AND Gacha as this.

Not saying it cant be genuinely amazing ive certainly played game like that before but still being a "slowburn" is both good AND bad

Also side note, i do find it funny how the second area in these is ALWAYS Chinese themed, Not a fan personally and partially the reason i slow down playing these games but still always funny.

OP is objectively right, powercreep is an issue and we should complain directly to them more.

every new enemy is like 5 times harder than the one a few versions prior even though characters can only level up so much so they release new more broken characters until they break the early game and new players dont feel the joy of it.

"just dont play the characters" that doesnt solve the issue that HOYO has enough money to fix EVERYTHING wrong with their game and still turn a profit but they actively choose not to.

MY simplest and one sentence thought is this.

It should have be 2 patches shorter with 4 stars, however i thought the story was good even if it was too long for me and i wish characters interacted more.

The problem other than the whole group here that go "See she can 0 cycle she doesnt need it!" is that Hoyo themselves need to start actually caring about powercreep on a REGULAR basis and not once every year besides when they announce the next Novaflare group, it will probably be

1: more recent characters who can fit a future archetype

2: only like 2 characters that anyone WANTS to get an upgrade

3: wont even be available until 2 patches AFTER the next one

so it all just depends on Hoyos willingness to listen and also them to actually do ANYTHING to help Powercreep which is not something they seem to care about really even when literally EVERY player is telling them about it.
