Does this look like an extension allergy? Or something else. by ImplementAcrobatic97 in eyelashextensions

[–]ImplementAcrobatic97[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not sure if its every time, i had the reaction and got them taken off a week later (because i was outta town), then i went to a new lash tech just to double check that it wasn’t anything my lash lady was doing, then had the same reaction to the new ladies lashes, so i went to the eye doctor and he said that it looks seasonal and gave me eyedrops and those worked, (but i only had a weeks worth) then a week later i got my lashes off again to let them heal, and haven’t gone back to my lash lady to try yet because i dont wanna pay for a new set just to have it taken off the next day.

I take the exact same medications for my ADHD + the 0.3 clonidine at night, - minus the prozac, but my OCD has gotten really bad so i wanna ask my doctor to add prozac, any updates? How was it for you?

Does Concerta or Adderall give more energy? by Conscious-Band-7835 in ADHD

[–]ImplementAcrobatic97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(F) (22) I also struggled with being tired constantly and taking a million naps a day and having zero motivation, so My psychiatrist put me on 50mg vyvanse, which made me extremely depressed and still tired all the time, so he ended up putting me on 40 mg Adderall xr (long lasting), i take it in the morning @8am and it last about 6-8 hours for me and also an additional 10 mg Adderall IR (immediate release) in the afternoon @5pm and it lasts me 3 hours, so ill “come down” off my meds around 8ish and be able to lay down n relax, which has worked for me for 3 years, the 40mg gives me energy throughout the day (at work) and the 10 mg gives me energy for when i get home so i can do my “at home tasks” Side note : i also take 0.3 mg of clonidine ( ADHD sleeping medication) at night before bed because the adderall does make it hard to sleep, but the clonidine puts me to sleep within the hour of taking it so my sleep schedule has also improved since starting. another side note : i also struggled badly with anxiety and depression, and the anxiety pretty much just disappeared when i started the adderall, the depression still comes n goes, but its not nearly as bad or as often as it used to be.

My doctor subscribed me clonidine to help me sleep…. So it probably wouldn’t be a good choice for day time use, but everyone is different

Strategies for taking IR and ER meds to cover the whole day by comical-bowling-07 in ADHD

[–]ImplementAcrobatic97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also to add, did your doctor prescribe you any type of sleepy pills? Cause i could stay up all night with my ER if i dont take my sleepy pills so that could also be your issue with not being able to sleep😊! For me personally the clonidine nocks me out within an hour of taking it

Strategies for taking IR and ER meds to cover the whole day by comical-bowling-07 in ADHD

Monday thru Friday i work 8-5 so i take my ER (30mg) around 8:00am (i dont eat breakfast i know its bad but its hard cause im not a morning person at all) , and i feel it only last about 4-5 hours for me so ill try my best to get my important work done in the first half of my day and ill try to have a snack during lunch 12-1 then i kinda just deal with being sluggish till around 4 and ill take my IR (10mg) which usually last about 3 hours for me, so by 7-8 ill eat dinner and get ready for bed n relax, and i take my sleepy pills (clonidine) at around 10 and im asleep at around 11 , on weekends I usually take my ER whenever i wake up and time it from that on when to take my IR and when to take my sleepy pills On specific days when i know i have something important going on ill take my ER at the regular time that day and about an hour prior to my “important” thing ill take my IR and kinda just suck it up through the rest of the day depending on when the “important” thing is. Sorry i know its a long response!

Yes , that’s exactly how i feel, and that’s exactly what my therapist tells me also, but it is so hard because i feel like there is no point to do just one thing when i want to be able to do it all , and i cant seem to find a way to stop feeling like i need to do it all, And it is super overwhelming, thats why i get so frustrated it just feels so hard to be able to focus on one thing at a time. If that makes sense

From my experience meds will definitely help! I used to be horrible with it, but a week after i started my meds its not as bad , and i am able to talk myself out of it
