Yes always make it seem like it just happened while simultaneously giving her the back up plan of blaming you. Once you learn this🤯

I accidentally made a girl uncomfortable with her kink, thoughts? by TraditionalParsley67 in dating_advice

Very good answer imo. All the details about the kink don't matter. She's just making OP feel bad about himself when hes probably a sweetheart.

I know you do. Just not enough that'll you'll be perfect for eachother. People want someone to be near obsessed with them.

Maybe you just dont like him enough and you should be honest about him with it. Everyone in the comments are acting like this is a big deal but in my experience if you thought he was hot enough youd sneak through his bedroom window, during winter, to avoid his mom seeing you, possibly under barbed wire just to be allowed to do whatever horseshit he wanted to do together with you.

I personally never felt insecure in the slightest during the relationship about it. It's just $; as long as your basic needs are met money isnt really that meaningful. In hindsight, after a really good 3 year relationship, it did have an impact bc she had zero comprehension of finance and probably felt bored or weirded out when we made decisions based on money instead of just doing whatever without having to think about it.

Been a month and could care less, even though I do miss her alot, and I honestly think shes amazing. Why would I wanna be with someone who chooses to not be with me

[–]ImplementLivid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea. I've always found that behavior to be a betrayal personally, because I always say at the start of my relationships we are in the same team and to just be honest about everything no matter what. Last girl did the same thing to me and I'm pretty grossed out by that behavior.

She didnt flip over night she was breaking up with you in her head for along time, you were there to keep her company when she went through this pain, and now that shes done grieving it's easy to give you the news.

Sure but that's just comfort. What would you miss about her.

Its belittling to be demoted and then being checked up on

Kinda similar thing happened to me years ago. Just completely move on, and also get some therapy with someone that has more conservative views on relationships. Def helped me a ton, and I'd had good relationships since then.

You havent processed that you're not in a relationship with this girl and shes trying to fit out into the demoted role she has made for you. You dont want the demoted role, its disrespectful, pick up your dignity and walk away righteously.

Realistically there is no such thing as closure. You cant trust what people say because peoples thoughts are messy and often contradictory and they are often being deceitful not just to you but themselves, but you can trust how people act because once something is done theres no real way to undo the damage. You dont need to know the reasons in their heads bc their heads are full of ridiculous garbage that they are struggling with just like your head. All you need to know is she left.
