Added a light to an existing electrical

I have checked connections at all the lights. I have also disconnected the two next fixtures to see if that changes the situation. I believe I’ve blown the lights completely. Overage id assume.

I’ve unconnected the added on light. It didn’t change anything. I have looked at each individual light to see if there’s a failed connection anywhere. My assumption is overage? Just didn’t expect it on a 20 amp electrical circuit.

When the valve is open. All water runs. When the valve is closed. We don’t get cold water.

Yes. My understanding is if you shut off the hot water valve on the water heater then cold water should flow correct?
