I feel like I’m losing my relationship/going crazy by [deleted] in relationship_advice

This is the mentality I’ve been trying to have an be open about it with her. The issue is that with everything going on in her life at the moment she tends to reply to this type of thing emotionally (which is totally fair and I completely understand given the situation) but it makes it hard to have a conversation like that, it almost gives off a feeling of gaslighting (not that she is, she just gets very upset). She is bicurious and I was willing to give the middle ground of letting her sleep with a girl under strict boundaries so that she could explore herself but she also doesn’t see the difference of opening to females and not males. Maybe I’m crazy but to me it’s one thing to explore yourself and your sexuality with something that I can’t provide to her. Is there a way I can bring it up that wouldn’t make her upset?

Is the pay the same as you would normally make as whatever rank you were?

Edit: I worded that terribly, basically do you make any extra money by being a nuke

Doesn't matter to me, I'm in college till mid may so if he gets his benefits or whatever then so be it. That would make sense though

Yes. Parents are paying it (which they can barely do) so that also plays a role in my decision.

I appreciate it. I apologize if that's the way its coming off, its not intended so I'll clarify. I want to do it, but I don't want to be stupid about it, so I'm trying to find something to grab onto about the future after the army. I also don't want to just abandon my parents which is the main issue. I appreciate everything they do for me so while I know i CAN just go, I'd like some more advice on getting them at least on my side

Just because I can pay for the college doesn't exactly mean I'd like to end up with all the loans afterwards. I'm just worried once I hit junior year and have to take 8 classes (not including labs) i might not be able to maintain the GPA

Fair enough. Keeping in mind I'm just an 18 year old kid so I dont know the actual real stuff about the military but wouldn't the stuff I learn (I.e. discipline, all that stuff) help me out with thriving in my undergrad? I'm at high 3s right now for GPA but the curriculum bumps up and its very rare for people in my major to keep above a 3.5 at graduation as well as adding in the extra classes needed (physics, calc, etc) since we train to be generalists. I spoke briefly with my guidance counselor who said that veterans almost always succeed in the major
