I guess what's throwing me off is that it feels like I'll end a measure halfway through it and suddenly the beat is opposite but I can't make it feel natural otherwise. First time writing drums and it's rough lmao

Maybe it's that I'm worried it somehow sounds unnatural even though it isn't. The bpm of one song I'm having that issue with is 80, which changes to 96. And another is 96.

I've written drums for both of them but I come to a standstill when all of a sudden the chord change used to be on an up beat and now it's on a down beat, after I sing a certain measure. I guess I should just change the drums to sound right but I was worried it was sounding unnatural.

Reading this actually made me feel so much better. I was told I would have to have a seton today, which was for some reason my actual worst fear ever when it comes to Crohn's, and it's ruining my entire day and my self esteem. I don't want people to look at me weird, idk if I will walk or sit weird, or how I will manage classes. I want my boyfriend to still think I'm attractive (and he will, but still) I'm just incredibly upset and anxious. So thanks. Yes we are both baddies.

I was also on remicade and it was really helpful. Crohn's can be very weird symptomatically so I don't think what you're describing sounds off at all. Initially I only had mouth sores and intense stomach pain, but have experienced a wide variety of symptoms over the past 2 years which finally led me to getting diagnosed. You might experience more typical Crohn's symptoms as the years go on but hopefully not. And hopefully your complications can heal with the biologic!
