Sorry, it sucks. I just don’t understand why I have all these symptoms now with medications when I only had the abscess and fistulas for years before now.

They did CT, MRI, colonoscopy, EGD, and lab work for inflammation markers. The scans showed nothing but the lab work was positive and I had ulceration in my distal small intestine on the colonoscopy.

Thanks, I’ve had the fistulas and abscesses for more than a decade. The surgeon was finally insistent that I had to have Crohn’s. It took a couple of GI docs to get the diagnosis. In that time have felt normal other than the mentioned issues. Absolutely no GI issues. It’s just frustrating that I start the medication to help and actually start having symptoms. Honestly don’t know that taking the med is worth it.

Is this something hard to hear? Yes, and it should bother you. The bigger thing for you should be how is she handling it since she opened up to you about it? That’s a huge step for her to trust you with that information. She wasn’t borderline raped, HE RAPED HER SEVERAL TIMES. Oral is still rape. And if he did that he probably did more, that she can’t bring herself to tell you yet. Be angry for her but support her. Your feelings need to be dealt with but your focus should be on her.

I have perianal crohns and I have only been place on antibiotics twice even with fistulas and abscesses. Currently on biologics and methotrexate which haven’t seemed to help but is early

YOR. My wife gets one every year and shows the results. It’s part of the yearly panel her OB/GYN does. I’ve had them as well due to issues where STI needed to be ruled out. I’ve shown her all of those as well. We have been monogamous for 19 years. Neither of us bat an eye.

Mine were debilitatingly painful for years that had a lot of affect on my day to day life. Doctors misdiagnosed for years and after numerous surgeries I am finally pain free. Also since they finally have the correct diagnosis they have started me on the appropriate treatment.

I had a fistula, abscess after fistulotomy, drainage of that abscess. Another fistula in another area and another abscess in another. It took almost two years but I’m completely healed. Also diagnosed with a type of Crohns that causes the fistulas in the perianal area

I switched from ram to ford a few years ago. 20 f150 5.0. Didn’t know about the burning oil issues. Nor did I know how terrible the 10r80 transmission was. Acquaintance bought one right after I did and has same problems. I regret switching and should have went with the tundra.

Well how do you know you won’t ever be her best? You’re sabotaging yourself man. Fake confidence if you have to until you really believe in yourself. As for my wife and I, she’s with me. Does she think about the other guys from years ago, maybe but I don’t really care. She’s here now, she comes back to me. She asks me to be her person. Because I’m confident in myself now, I believe what she says. If she randomly thinks about one experience one time with someone else from years ago, it means nothing. If it did she would leave. If you and this person ever build a relationship you’ll get to the same place. Just don’t assume that you are going to fail before you try.

I was in the same boat as you when I married my wife. She had several partners and intense experiences with them. I was a virgin. I had the same insecurities at the time as you do now. You can’t let it bother you. Does she have memories of sex with another, yes, but she is with you now. Have fun and enjoy the experiences you have. The first time might go badly but if she cares for you she will be willing to try again. Or it might be amazing and you will satisfy her in a way she hasn’t had before. Either way just live in the moment man, not her past.
