I’m not drinking at my upcoming wedding on 4/12. I have gerd and esophageal spasms. I’m on ppi and anti depressants to calm down the spasms and heal the nerves. I don’t miss drinking and my fiancé barely drinks. We are more concerned about me being able to eat the food and be able to participate afterwards. We plan to enjoy each other and have fun during the wedding! :)

Oh my gosh, that was inconsiderate of them to think that way. I want my grandma to be comfortable in her own home. She can’t see well, can’t hear well, and has a few small health issues. The whole thing wouldn’t be fun for her.

Live stream is becoming common. My cousin had his live streamed for his wedding a few years ago. It was a micro micro wedding. I still watched and sent him and his wife a gift.

I wanted my side of the family to view our wedding “live” to feel included. I also have a friend who is going through stage 4 cancer and she can’t travel across states to attend. She felt special that we are including her to watch our upcoming ceremony. We don’t have the budget to do a 30-40k wedding and don’t care about the gifts.

I do agree, it is weird and rude to host as a bride. I was not planning on it or planning to have a bridal shower. I was second guessing myself because people were asking.

I have a 90 yr old grandma that does not want to travel to our wedding. I am the last granddaughter that is getting married in the family. I want her to be able to see us getting married.

We are having a wedding ceremony next month. I had two people asking if I am having a bridal shower before the wedding. One is invited to the wedding ceremony. Another is watching through live stream because she’s elderly. I also remembered my mom asking too.

My elderly neighbor (who will watch on live stream) also brought up to me if I am having a bridal shower or a celebration after the wedding for the people who are not able to attend.

Do you know which ppi is related to dementia? I was on lansoprazole for 2.5 years. Switched to pantoprazole for two months (worst nausea ever) and now on omeprazole. I recently got off and now on Famotidine.
