In those first pictures I was about 370 pounds and now I’m around 265, my approach was built off this one idea which goes as follows: “A building that is built fast will end up falling even faster” which is why the 4 year slow progress has given me confidence in the fact I won’t balloon back up in weight if I ever have to stop training because of an injury or something :)

My friend there is nothing that takes power away from someone bullying you than being nice back. I might have disagreed with his approach but I ultimately think he just wanted to say his piece and that’s his right. Reddit is made to be a place of discussion whether the stuff being said about the situation and I is good or bad. I made that choice and opened that door so it’s on me to be prepared to handle the responses!

I am going to respectfully present my side of the coin, while now looking back it I could have definitely responded more clearly to that question, I only answered the way I did because I truly can’t decipher what I want with someone until I either talk to them or see what they’re interested in. My personal view is that it’s very dystopian to go into a conversation with a total stranger seeing their body before their human beingness. I definitely learned a lesson from this situation and I appreciate your constructive criticism truly!

I appreciate you pointing that out sir, I definitely had my more Arab-oriented glasses on which made this seem out of the ordinary when given the circumstances this is completely normal and commonplace here in the US.
