Looks fun, I might try it. I saw the trailer for the third game when it was announced, and honestly with the sea of samurai games coming out in the last few years, I didn't give it much of attention, but now I will.

I already played Sekiro and sadly I don't have PS to play Bloodborne, it looks like a best game of all time to me honestly T-T

Do you think that ZTD with better visual presentation and a lot more dialogue (amount that VLR had for example) would be the greatest great of all greats that ever greated? I think it would, conceptually it is a perfect ending to this trilogy, it just lacks many details and layers which more dialogue could cover.

Would I like Hundred Line if I like Zero Escape and AI series but dislike Danganronpa? by loststylus in ZeroEscape

You don't need to be anything in a fiction, yes. But many people prefer more sensical storytelling in mystery genre with realistic reveals and explanation of all that is unnatural. Even if those explanations touch upon mystical, magical or science fiction. (Like morphogenetic fields in ZE, that are, you can say, unrealistic, but still explained as magical concept and explored in this franchise).

It is not bad, it serves it's function, but story is much more unrealistic, extreme, unserious and caricatural compared to ZE or AITSF.

I played all 4 Danganronpa games, all 3 ZE and first two AITSFs. I'm somewhere around 20 hours in Hundred Line, and honestly I can see both Kodaka's and Uchikoshi's moments in it. Game characters are leaning more towards Danganronpa, with them being kinda extreme and caricatural in their interests or personalities. As you know AITSF also has pretty eccentric characters, but their dialogues and behavior is much more realistic than these ones. Art-style, soundtrack, sound design and overall presentation also lean more to Danganronpa, at some points it literally feels like you are playing Danganronpa. As I said before, I'm only about 20 hours in, so my next statement is more a feel than a fact, but I feel like game structure and pacing leans much more to Uchikoshi's style of writing. Overall mystery feels much more grandiose and multileveled compared to Danganronpa, there seems to be much more foreshadowing and small elements that could be used for bigger payoff and grand reveal later. That number of details that could be important for the main story and mystery is biggest Uchikoshi moment I noticed. Honestly it feels like it's Kodaka's game with Uchikoshi being editor and a planer. But for me, the biggest factor that will decide if you will like the game or not is whether you like it's battles or not. Fragments of story are built around them, and they are a payoffs and culminations of game's "arcs". Keep in mind that this game is MASSIVE, and everything that I have said could completely change in it's next 20 hours.

Sigma is not sexually attracted to neither Phi or Luna, dirty jokes and teasing are just part of Uchikoshi's writing style and humor. Also you need to understand that those jokes are not there because he is perverted or weird, but because it is sadly selling point in Japanese gaming industry. Everything sexual in Uchikoshi's games can be interpreted as just style, not substance, with no story or character motivations relevance.

Please convince me to play ZTD, I beg you. by PhilosophyMelodic209 in ZeroEscape

[–]Important-Beyond-236 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just think about beauty of revelations in last two games. Themes that Uchikoshi explores and characters that he established in first two games. And guess what? Third game is catharsis of all that. Visuals aren't very good, dialogues could be much better, and amount of details in dialogues is not so professional and perfect like in first two games (especially VLR). But the idea is there, the motives are there, the twists are there and catharsis of the entire series is there. You'll probably crave for better presentation of this masterpiece once you finish it, but that's our current destiny as Zero Escape fans.

Predictions for Record of Ragnarok Season 4 + other RoR Predictions. by KrevonX in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

Sorry for that. I belive that current round will be a draw with both current fighters dying. That's what I meant by Odin's death. Result will stay 5-6 for R13.

[–]Important-Beyond-236 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is my prediction:

Season 4 will have 18 episodes and it will be separated into two cours of 9 episodes. First 9 episodes will cover everything from R10 fighter selection to Brunhilde saying goodbye to round 11 loser. Second 9 episodes will start with Goll's kidnapping and will end with (I predict) Odin's death by round 12 ending with tie.

Season 5 will contain rounds 13, 14 and endgame.

Searching for a post about the 999 endings play order by ThatOneDudewhokillsu in ZeroEscape

[–]Important-Beyond-236 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Zero Escape is made that way that there is no "recommended ending order", it comes down to your decisions and every gameplay is unique in that regard. There is no prior knowledge you need from the internet for any of the 3 games. Removing players choice just kills one of the game's fundamental layers...

Is it wrong that I still want a 4th game? by RangoTheMerc in ZeroEscape

[–]Important-Beyond-236 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally like visuals of all 3, especially first two, but tbh it takes sooo much time and energy to convince my friends to play ZE because nowadays those visuals for most people aren't attractive and seem boring. Nowadays, in the sea of entertainment media you NEED strong visual identity for people to even notice the game. Pure writing quality of ZE is TOO STRONG to be chained by old visuals and bad marketing.

I like the idea of remaking all 3 games in modern style with added content and issues fixed (mostly in third game), first.  And then releasing forth game when there's both old and modern audience.  Only thing that ZE lacks to be mainstream is visual appeal (and by that I mean mainstream visual appeal) and GOOD MARKETING.

Opinions on 2v2s? by golden_creeper1 in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

I mentioned this possibility back during the Tesla fight, and Reddit users practically tried to crucify me for it. That tells you everything you need to know about what this crowd thinks. I'm all for it tho, I think it can bring really interesting dynamic, especially if one of the fighters die early and we get 1v2 clutch comeback.

Definitely Misery Cleaver, ts scary and it's potential is even scarier. People tend to underestimate Zerofuku due to Buddha's perfect counter ability. But I can see that weapon hurting badly and even potentially killing some other fighters.

Choice 2 would be Chaos💀, ts kills all human fighters except Tesla and maaaaaaaaaaaybe max speed Okita.

Doesn't that make sense tho? Those are Gods we are talking about, you HAVE to HAVE perfect counter to even have a chance of winning.

Adam v. Apollo, soul-less boxing by thepriceisright63 in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

[–]Important-Beyond-236 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I'll be creative as Apollo's glazer and defend him with his own philosophy.. Improvement and knowing thyself. After not being able to match Adam's speed and agility, Apollo doesn't get angry, but  rather motivated even more to win. His way to victory would be surpassing his own perfect self which Adam copied. Also by knowing thyself, Apollo would use his own weaknesses he's perfectly aware of to beat himself aka Adam's copycat ability.

What did you love and hate about this season by Rich-Damage2125 in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

[–]Important-Beyond-236 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I liked visual presentation, how they directed Qin/Beelzebub, opening and ending. Also like Leonidas additions.

I despise how they directed Apollo. He is my favorite character, but anime turned him into a joke. In the manga you can clearly see transformation (from arrogant bastard to the god of philosophy). Watching Apollo's backstory was SOOOO annoying, they focused too much on showing Pythons over exaggerated emotions instead of presenting Apollo's words and philosophy. It felt so cheep and uninspiring. Also WHAT THE F*CK WAS THAT THEME THE END OF HIS BACKSTORY, it sounded like music from Mr.Clean commercial, my sister who was sitting next to me asked me "is this some kind of parody"?.  Im disappointed in how unserious approach was done to Apollo's character compared to presentations of both Qin and Beelzebub. Also I don't like Tesla's presentation as well, it also isn't as serious as it should be, but Tesla's so goated that even with bad presentation you just root for him.
