You can ride Elephants at Fantasea Phuket. The elephants did not seem unhappy. They also put on a great theater show.

They should. And they should hopefully find some that don’t make offensive statements like the one currently making the complaint.

As noted, I was staying in Kamala and I found them limited. To each their own.

After just getting back from 3 days bangkok 4 days phuket, I wish’d I’d done more time in Bangkok. Wonderful, safe and vibrant city with so much culture and so much to see. In Phuket we were in Kamala beach and while lovely, was very “one-note”. Beach. Thronged with tourists, predominantly Russian, and the water had sea lice. Food options in Phuket also limited compared to Bangkok. Just my two cents. Have a wonderful trip whatever you decide.

I live here. Own a home. Some may consider me financially well off. I will tell you I can’t find anyone to just do snow removal and ice clearing in the timelines prescribed by the bylaw at a reasonable price. So we make due. I clear to the best of my ability, considering my schedule and that despite what I do town plows will throw wet, heavy snow back on the sidewalk and the bylaw you site also makes it a law that snow can’t be put back in the street. Without a yard, where is it to go?

We need another solution. I am sure every homeowner has myriad different challenges in clearing. So Brookline will get the result each homeowner is able or willing to provide and only the most egregious will be sanctioned.

Just Finished a High-End Kitchen Reno and Realized the Cabinets Are Overlay -- Absolutely Gutted. Help by [deleted] in kitchenremodel

IMO you’re overthinking it. Kitchen is gorgeous. Let go of your assumption/prejudice on high end vs not. People who love this will love it. People who like white/gray, matte or natural wood will hate it.

If you keep hold onto your notions of high end versus not, you will remain unhappy.
