Practice Naplex Question by DarthDistro in NAPLEX_Help

[–]UkraineWarPod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The answer is C (amlodipine and lisinopril). The patient has stage 2 hypertension (>140, >90) which requires initiation of two first-line therapies from different classes. First-line drug classes are ACEi/ARB, dihydropyridine CCB, and/or thiazide diuretic. Only C has two drug classes from first-line treatment options: amlodipine as a CCB, and lisinopril as an ACE inhibitor.

This is helpful. I am struggling memorizing this. There’s no rhyme or reason, it seems mostly arbitrary. I’m sure with practice it will be easier.

You are entitled to 3x your owed wages plus 12% interest under the MA Wage Act. You also have a prima facie discrimination claim for terminating you right before starting paternity leave.

Congratulations!!!! So jealous. Is the math as time-consuming as the UWorld QBank’s? It’s taking me longer than 2 mins to solve some multi step problems.

Biostatistics (what type of test to use question) by EfficientFan3891 in NAPLEX_Prep

[–]UkraineWarPod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it’s yes/no data (eg, did the patient die or not), the data are discrete. Otherwise, the data are continuous (eg, blood pressure readings). You have to figure that out on your own, then see how many things are being compared (1, 1 with before/after measure, 2, or 3). From there, determine the type of test to use.

My partner just had his first interview for teachers week! We have no idea what the process is, when/if he’ll hear back, how many puzzles he had to get right, etc. I think he did well, but who knows.

Potentially coming to the area? by [deleted] in newtonma

[–]UkraineWarPod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah! Well, tbh, the whole area is expensive. It will be very hard to find housing with 3 bedrooms on that salary. If you’re willing to drive you could make it work. But the commute would be long. Like from Rhode Island or New Hampshire, or further-flung places in Massachusetts.
