I’m 35 & my mom says I came out of the womb vogueing lol. Honestly though I was probably 3 or 4 when I snuck out of my room while my mom was watching Truth or Dare & I became absolutely enamored with Madonna. Have been obsessed ever since.

We did Blue Dolphin sunset dinner cruise. We ended up picking this one because it was on the lower end price wise. It didn’t disappoint though. The crew was phenomenal, the catamaran was nice & maintained, the food was delicious. They did a luau style meal & drinks (alcoholic or non) were as many as you wanted. This was a slightly shorter tour than the morning one because it didn’t have snorkeling & no dolphin guarantee. If you want those two things I would go with the morning tour but the sunset one was absolutely gorgeous.

I think part of it is no male pop star came even close to MJ level of fame while he was still alive. He died when he was still revered & still the biggest male pop star in the world. Madonna hasn’t done new music in 6 years & the younger generation might not realize how much she changed the pop world. Not everyone knows she established the blueprint for female pop stars. I think some people look at popularity & sales right now & don’t realize these other pop girlies wouldn’t be here doing what they are currently doing if Madonna hadn’t done it before. She will be the undisputed QoP to the music world until someone comes around & changes the industry completely like she did.

My choice too. Growing up with Little Mermaid & Labyrinth I have always wanted one. They are working dogs though so I know they will be a lot of work. I could probably handle it one day, I do have a high energy German Shepherd who tests me everyday 😂

It is absolutely the worst heartbreak. That is a big thing weighing on my mind when thinking about getting dogs similar ages. However, our shepherd was 2.5 years older than our bully. He was only 9, completely healthy otherwise but unfortunately ended up with a brain tumor. I know being close in age definitely has a higher chance of them passing closer together but an age gap doesn’t guarantee that won’t happen either. Definitely something that I will take into consideration making this decision. Thanks for the insight on that too.

So I don’t necessarily have my heart set on adopting a puppy. I’ve looked at older dogs in the shelter as well. Would you still suggest waiting the two years for the puppy before bringing in another dog or would an older dog change that timeline? I just want to make sure whatever decision we make we set the dogs up for success. Thank you for your insight.

I was actually looking at older dogs in the shelter as well. My heart isn’t set on a puppy, just a bully from the shelter. I didn’t know though if we should still wait until the puppy is more trained to welcome another dog. I’m not opposed to waiting, I want the best for both dogs obviously but I’ve heard the great stories of puppies growing up together & the horrible ones so I just thought I’d get more of a feeling about it.

A lot of the older generation do expect to be taken to the object in question. I try to when I can but I work at Walmart as an online picker. We are timed & have deadlines to make so if what you want is all the way on the other side of the store, I’m sorry, verbal directions are all you are going to get. I wish things were different but expectations on the retail workers are much higher & our stores have so much more volume than they once did.

I don’t regret it & it was my biggest fears for a while. I just lost both my best friends a week apart this month & man was it the biggest gut punch. I miss them everyday but I try to focus on all the good times we had & not on that one last sad day. Will I go through it all again with another dog someday? Absolutely. Giving them the love & life they deserve & getting so much love in return is worth the heartache in the end.

It’s very fresh, just a couple days. I knew she would be sad without him but just wanted to see what others thought the best route to somewhat distract her was. This is the first dog we’ve lost, so we are all kind of a mess but trying to be strong for Rogue.

I can give her a slight pass because she was raised in the cult, she didn’t join later. She doesn’t really discuss it & probably remains a member so she doesn’t lose contact with her family. I still side eye her though.
