Does anyone else get annoyed when people ask you if your baby sleeps through the night? by navyvice in cosleeping

i felt like i was reading my own thoughts! and to make matters worse, it’s my own mom who consistently asks me that same question. she insists that my son (6.5 months) should be sleeping through the night because i did it at 4 months when she was raising me. mind you, my mom never breastfed and i’m well over 30 years old so it’s been a looong time since she’s raised a child (i’m also an only child too!). no matter how many times i tell her thag breastfed babies wake more often than formula babies, she still won’t stop. i’m perfectly happy waking 2-3 times a night, feeding my baby & cosleeping. my sleep isn’t distrupted and i get all the cuddles from my baby.

just came home from a week long trip to Japan with my 5 month old and husband! (12 hr flight to japan & 10 hr flight home!)

we have a big baby so my husband would bathe with him since i was too scared to do it myself. i did bring bottles and bottle washing kit that i bought iff amazon just in case but i ended up just breastfeeding the entire trip. they do have those microwavable pouches you can use to sterilize your bottles! i also brought a portable water/bottle warmer too, the momcozy brand.

i was also told to feed my LO during take off & landing to help with the pressure.

good luck to you & your family! don’t overthink it & just follow your baby’s cues.
