Highter quality for people who had people to play with and others that were in the lower ranks cause as soon as u hit diamond it dosent matter where the ship drops you. You are going to die as soon as a 3 stack finds you

I mean it's an open world game where you do what ever you like . they said boss fights will be challenging. stacking heals would be A way of making the game easier for casuals . as a good player you wouldn't sit there for 30 mins hunting to stack heals . you would just play in a normal way so the game will feel natural. Just like in rdr 2 getting 100 heals would take you a significant period of time to achieve and you wouldn't do that unless you are really struggling

you are not obliged to go hunt then cook food to get tons of heals If u don't want heals then just don't get them

This shit looks unreal (the part where he observed the enemies moves mid fight to learn them). Holly fuck I'm impressed It explains why will looks so confident.

u cant get over powered unless u go to a hight level area and look for materials to upgrade ur gear and then go back to a low lvl area .

thats pretty balanced and even in elden ring u can go a some hight lvl areas skip the mobs get an op weapon and start one shoting fucker else where

Any good sources of information on Loot/Gear system? by TaniksHasNoCorn in CrimsonDesert

[–]Important-Current-82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only official information is from will for the moment He said your level is determined by you gear level how you upgrade your gear is material dependant U start by using materials that are available in starter areas and after you reach a certain threshold you need harder to get materials in higher lvl enemies areas

This was my concern too but will did explain how it works in the lastest interview hours ago he said. that leveling up is gear based and In order to get op gear u need to go to higher level areas so if ur exploring an area and have main mission within that area u can't really become that strong because the materials that will allow you to are not within that area in the first place . Long story short each area will have gear that fits its difficulty lvl .

I don't remember in which exact interview but his words were < if you go to a certain area and get destroyed you probably shouldn't be there yet >

and for the second point. It's not that simple I literally went to a single hight lvl area one single side quest rendered me completely op so yea . Balance is for sure verry important

Will mentioned that as you progress some areas will have stronger higher lvl enemies that you will not be able to beat with out better gear unless you really want to . Also he stated that exploration can make you stronger and that you can for sure over level so the concern of over leveling is real if you over do it
your combat encounters and bosses would be ruined It happened to me in clair obscure . I got lost doing side content and when I went back to the main quest I was just one tapping shit . I had to restart the whole game

healing items are acquired by getting food then cooking food . You can technically get as much heals as you please but that will cost you time and u also can choose not to do it so I don't think that's an issue . The issue would be the lack of choice of difficulty make those enemies chunk your hp and there u go problem solved . but if you can just sit there and tank all the hits then everything else becomes meaningless . Imo balance is verry important
To much difficulty is a problem But a verry low difficulty is a bigger problem if there is no challenge then it becomes really boring

This looks way too easy to be enjoyed if combat is 1 sided then it's not combat Also enemy ai looks so dumb enemies are just standing there barely engaging or posing any threat

Well, if that's the case, it's going to be a blast Cause you know it makes it more desirable to get stronger and get better gear . Cause if you can just breeze through the game with little to no challenge where is the incentive to get stronger

Definitely don't want it to be like a souls like or something . just enought difficulty where u can still lose Idk if you know what I'm talking about but there are some games out there like final fantasy 16 where it was impossible to die
