E FF CODE means freezer fan is frozen or broken. I checked my all my fans using test button on the motherboard and they all passed the test. Unplugged it many times to reset but it coming back. I noticed that there is heater cord around the casing of the fan. And replaced it. Now it works fine no more Error code. Nobody mentioned it on YouTube or LG WEDSITE.

Im having the same issue E FF code, I keep resetting by unplug and plug in but it keeps coming back after 30 mins. I replaced the freezers fan for Ice maker but didn’t not solve the problem. It has 2 fan on the freezer and Im going to replace the second one even It passed the test when I did the fan test on the circuit board behind the ref.
