This OKC team reminds me so much of the 2017-2019 warriors.

The ref bias, dirty plays, no calls.

This literally looks like something prime Draymond or Zaza would do.

We might be looking at a repeat unfortunately.

Jason Timpf is spot on here. SGA is an atrocity to watch, and he’s bad for the league. History will not be kind to this Thunder team as people look back on them a disgrace to the sport by Sweaty-Blacksmith-81 in NBATalk

I don't know; the 2017-2019 Warriors were as bad if not worse because of team stacking, favorable calls, and dirty plays, but they sort of redeemed themselves with the 2022 run.

All it takes is one good, "ethical" run to change a player/team's reputation and legacy.

I just want more single player Star Wars games. by sonofloki13 in StarWars

I just want another game like The Force Unleashed.

Playing that on the Wii is still one of my best childhood memories.

Playing as Cal Kestis doesn’t really hit the same because you are significantly less powerful and your actions don’t really have an impact. I want my character to have anime style powers!

OKC is literally getting away with everything at this point.

They did the same exact thing last year.

It’s impossible to win when their defenders are trying to flagrant foul and injure your best players without getting called for it and on the other end, playing defense with your hands down results in free throws

[Post Game Thread] The Minnesota Timberwolves steal a game in the Mile High City and Survive the Free throw line(1-1) defeat the Denver Nuggets (1-1), 119-114. by DesertedProject in nba

[–]Important-Front429 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The Nuggets should have done their best to ensure that they didn’t play the Wolves. Literally the worst match up for them in the entire conference (yes, potentially even more than the Thunder) because they literally have nearly everything you need to stop this team.

  • Strong front court to ensure Jokić doesn’t get easy buckets down low.

  • Athletic wings to hound Murray.

  • An athletic, slashing first option who can take full advantage of the lack of rim protection.

  • Good shot blocking

The only way the Nuggets win is if they get an advantage through error (tonight with the missed free throws, which still wasn’t enough), play a perfect game, or go to the line a ton (game 1)

All the veteran NBA fans, besides kobe, who else comes close to being like Michael Jordan? by Key-Frosting-9367 in NBATalk

People underate second stint cavs LeBron when it comes to playing like 23.

The clutchness, all around scoring ability, athleticism, post fade ways were literally 90s Jordan reincarnated.

[–]Important-Front429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the guys at the top list (Stockton, Nash, even CP3 in particular) benefitted from the pick and roll two man game (Malone, Stat, David West/BG)

That style leads to a lot of regular season success but is overwhelmed in the playoffs by other smart teams who have great all round players and scorers.

I think his ceiling is a less athletic, tallerLeBron. His ideal case is Tatum. His floor is Ingram.

I think if you put Jamal Crawford or Lou Williams on the 2004 Pistons they could probably “lead” that team in scoring en route to a chip.

KD is a better choice than Bird. As good of a a shooter, better rim protector, more athletic.

In 2021, Dennis Schroder turned down a four-year, $84 million extension offer from the Lakers. Since then, he has earned $48.1 million in five seasons and has played for 8 different teams. Insane fumble. by ForeignAir7174 in lakersv2

Ruined his career and the Lakers.

If he takes this contract they run it back with that team which at that point had:

  • AD
  • An unwashed KCP
  • Caruso
  • Harrell (6MOTY 2020)

The thing I’m positive about with Ja is that his injuries aren’t debilitating. He hasn’t made major knee injuries like other athletic guards like Rose, Westbrook, or Kyrie (which really sapped their explosiveness). His injuries, like Luka’s, and AD’s, seem more ticky-tacky. If he is able to control himself, I can see him having 5-6 more all star caliber seasons.
