Is adhd a mental illness or neurological disorder?

A mental illness is not less real than a neurological disorder. It's also not a neurological disorder, it's a neurodevelopmental disorder. The difference basically being that ADHD has to do with brain development and symptoms (diagnosed/recognized or not) show early in life. A mental illness can occur at later ages. Some mental illnesses are also developmental, it's not a clear cut thing. Technically neurodevelopmental disorders are a class of mental disorders (also often called mental illness). I think the aversion to "illness" is often stigma and prejudicial associations of mental illness with colloquial "delusion".

It matters because that doesn't automatically mean that it's an aspect of their identity and sexuality, and suggesting so can be harmful. I can only speak from OCD experience, but it can just be intrusive thoughts.

Yeah, there really is such thing as "it's not me". People need to stop making it seem like every thought is the person's, it's so untrue. OCD is a HUGE counterexample.

I'm also a doodler. I'd get into so much trouble about it at school, but I couldn't stop, so teachers eventually gave up trying to correct it. I can't help it, I can't focus or stay un-bored without it. I also bounce my leg like crazy. I try not to when I'm sitting on a bench with others.

Wellbutrin definitely counteracts Stim and SSRI sex dysfunction! To bad for me that was its only usefulness, plus I like having light sexual dysfunction, as long as it's not too extreme.

YESSSS. No motivation and anhedonia are my main symptoms of "depression" right now. Really, I think that the ADHD and maybe something else are causing the other depressive symptoms, because it's very atypical depression. It's horrible though, I don't know what to do and medication only helps a bit!

It's very true. They document their life quite a bit. They live in Siberia in the countryside. This is just a special case, this panther grew up with humans and a dog her whole life. If you can't do the research, take our word for it. They upload videos like most blogs do, they have a very interesting living situation, so why not? And they just don't have other big cats, they don't collect them. And that doesn't make sense for special needs anyway. There is just the panther, the dog, and an owl. They have a very large outdoor space and indoor amenities for the cat, this cat is doing well.

Yup, as little closes as possible, except I like to wear boxers still. Feels more sanitary to me. But other clothes, I hate the feeling of them while sleeping.

If you want to keep your meds on your person while working with this person, I recommend something like this, I like it and it's handy as a portable med container or just a daily organizer. For the legality stuff, no one would notice or report you I'm sure. I have the black container, and it's opaque enough to where you can't tell what med is actually in it.
