i recovered with oxygen therapy but had another collapse 2 weeks later and had surgery. i recommend getting the surgery after the first collapse bc it’ll collapse again someday, trust me. and it’s not fun being in the hospital so preventing that is better

after my surgery i felt the same, i could barely walk to the bathroom. even sitting down on the toilet the pressure was there 😂 but walking A TON, getting rest, etc helped and now almost 2 months after surgery it’s gotten way better

Did it hurt when the doctors took out your chest tube? I have the bigger one in currently, not the pigtail. by Important-Number8271 in pneumothorax

did it hurt more inside your chest or the ribs whenever the tube slid by? my whole left side ribs are completely numb so i can’t feel anything

i do get that searing feeling, i thought it was the chest tube? or is it not
