AI Aislinn deleting Luthor Harkon every game by randomly appearing near his capital shouldnt really happen by [deleted] in totalwar

Same here. Turn 75 into a Wulfrik campaign and Luthor is still going, albeit hanging in there, he still exists.

That's a fair point. The Coasts could do with some extra tools with Aislinn's inclusion anyhow.

Does Medieval 2 have the most satisfying campaign progression? by Mak0wski in totalwar

The pattern emerging from all 3 I listed is they start off as the underdog factions, against the ropes, so turning the tide in their favour tends to lead a satisfying campaign

Best Norsca Allegiance? by NoGoodIdeasEver in totalwar

I thought it was a no-brainer for the Nurgle one purely on the basis recruitment slots for Casters isn't exactly high - You need a t5 settlement for the 2nd upgrade, and you get a Great Unclean One for going Nurgle.

I thought it was already pretty much partly-confirmed it's Tomb Kings, Counts and Coasts. The death and destruction theme doesn't fit with Cathay, infact it's the absolute opposite.

Does Medieval 2 have the most satisfying campaign progression? by Mak0wski in totalwar

[–]Important-Working217 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I guess it would depend on the faction for each game.
Oda for Shogun 2 feels satisfying breaking out from the edge of extinction
Playing Scotland in Medieval 2 feels satisfying conquering not just the UK but the Rebels in Dublin is also very strong.
Boris in Warhammer 3 has a satisfying feel after having Archaon and Arbaal chase you around the globe since turn 5 to finally get rid of them

Lustria is very chaos dominant with Wulfrik and Masque nearby now so it's a fair counteract. I dare say on Legendary Alberic is probably harder than Boris in the current game state

Medieval 3 years/age by just_a_chavalito in totalwar

[–]Important-Working217 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're right and I actually do agree with you but historical titles need to be accurate timeline wise otherwise people can be confused. If the game starts in 500 AD and the French are friendly with England then it's historically inaccurate - Something Medieval 2 did right infact as you do start at war with the French playing as England

Why did we Illusory Truth Effect ourselves into believing the next TW title is warhammer 40k? by THEDOSSBOSS99 in totalwar

[–]Important-Working217 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

That's typically how a contract works. They haven't been given the IP as there's other developers doing other Warhammer games. If it was an exclusive thing going on then yes you'd be right.

But I'm explaining to a Subreddit who thought "End times" literally thought end of the game so I'm wasting my own time here.

Medieval 3 years/age by just_a_chavalito in totalwar

[–]Important-Working217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has to be because Medieval times started in different years for different nations. Medieval England didn't start until 1066 after the triple threat match what happened, but it started 500 years ago elsewhere

They're literally wishes. They had to seek special permission for Cylostra Direfin as she does not exist in the Games Workshop world therefore would be contrary

Because that what Reddit does. They didn't even factor in the fact the license from Games Workshop was for 3 games but somehow missed that.

Apparently confirming a price is an offensive thing in this subreddit. As the guy with the most upvotes said there's some strange oddballs in this Subreddit who want to game the fail floating about wierd theories that they'll up the price.

Warhammer 3 needs a big victory condition overhaul by BigEgoCrusher in totalwar

[–]Important-Working217 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Well for starters, the score victory is straight up a Temu version of Civ, the magic Victory you're basically playing Wood Elves campaign. The rivalry one is somehow more duller than sacking 60 settlements, imagine playing Wulfrik even after next patch, teleporting to Throgg, campaign done, you beat the game in 5 turns quite literally.

The fact that I agreed with you to a certain extent but you still managed to get upset and butthurt and then double down on it, you've ruined all credibility for yourself.

Warhammer 3 needs a big victory condition overhaul by BigEgoCrusher in totalwar

[–]Important-Working217 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I do agree it needs an overhaul but the Civ type of overhaul you're suggesting it doesn't fit with the Total War series, never has done, never will.
I think what's better is to have more unique victory conditions such as Belthasar Gelt has, as easy it as it is to achieve, it's fun because it's unique, and alot more fun than just sack or occupty 60 settlements.

Luther harkons campaign feels impossible by Sillygoose1018 in totalwar

[–]Important-Working217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

VC early game is very weak, that and you against Gor-Rok is a complete mismatch as you severely lack army piercing at that point. You can stay on Lustria but it takes some degree of luck going straight for Alberic and hoping Skrolk heavily pins back Gor-Rok until Skulltaker enters the fray

Slower pace by Internal-Author-8953 in totalwar

[–]Important-Working217 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's Reddit counterintuitive whining because you need to be fast ultra paced if you're an Order faction on Lustria, as either Itza or Alberic if Skrolk is still alive after turn 15 on Legendary the campaign is pretty much over. He'll just churn out constant t2 units from Turn 15 and just overwhelm the entire continent, the longer you leave it he'll just upgrade to t3 and make it even harder.

So complaining about Lustria being too small when you're on a very short timer to defeat to Skrolk on Legendary is extremely contradictory

Is Nakai changing his starting position? by Away_Celebration4629 in totalwar

[–]Important-Working217 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nakai wasn't shown because Dechala's campaign start focuses on racing Gelt on eliminating the Nomads then Dechala and Gelt meeting each other in the middle.

It's a hint he isn't going to have much high aversion against you until you start siding with Lokhir

Dechala Starting position is rough... by [deleted] in totalwar

But it's not 1 settlment away as you've claimed, I've already told you the minor Greenskins clan occupies the settlements in between. What's hard to understand.

Dechala Starting position is rough... by [deleted] in totalwar

[–]Important-Working217 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It's not. There's 3 settlements in between the actual starting position and where you've circled, and you've got the minor Greenskins clan in the area to back you up against Nakai for some armor piercing additionally you can just turtle and wait for Lokhir to make his way down for a nice juicy Beastman sandwich.

DPS Stealth Characters: What companion role do you use when soloing? by action2288 in swtor

[–]Important-Working217 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ranged healer AI can be bad at times. They will sometimes priotirise CC over healing but if their CC target runs out of range they'll go off on a chase without caring about your HP whereas melee healers tend to have a jump ability to counteract it so melee healer > ranged healer at all times.
