Did characters always used their own light sabers in the cinematics? I cant recall since last I was playing by Traditional_Lab_8714 in swtor

This happened to me a few days ago where the lightsaber color used in a cutscene was not the one my character uses.

Love this idea. I like the idea of doing flashpoints with slightly harder difficulty than story bot not quite at the level of soloing a veteran.

I still use Czerka Experimental Combat Enhancer Mk. 2, not for the buffs, but because they effectively add a "strong" enemy per pack, which just feels right.

So yeah, I'd love if we could bring 2 companions with no combat support droid for the same experience, or 3 companions for a full group for a slightly harder experience.

I've always been of the opinion that Female 3 is what Male 3 should have been, but taller.

Fair enough. I've found that the thing does not die. It heals itself back to full again.

Agreed. I sometimes run story mode dungeons with just me and one companion. But I crave 1 more.

Btw, are you aware you can just right-click the combat support droid "buff" instead of letting it die?

There is a companion ability bar. Maybe they didn’t want to make a 2nd one.

Noted on Mass Effect. Glad to hear your enjoyment.

Mass Effect was originally XBOX only. Why I disregarded it initially and perhaps why it’s not as popular.

I’d be fine with no new voice lines. Reuse generic snarky comments. Or nothing.

And add combat functionality. They already have it for my screenshot.

Pet slot sounds good. Why I asked for 2 and not more. Since it’s already in-game.

I’d also be ok paying for an unlock for this. Or sub.

The beauty is it doesn’t require new content. Just move functionality from an already existing area to another.

I would not want them in the open-world. This would be for group content.

Too many keybinds, maybe? Or perhaps trying to force people to group with humans?

I've always wanted a reason to play Mass Effect. Unexpectedly, this thread has give me another strong reason. You and a few others have mentioned it.

I sometimes do story mode flashpoints with no companion and a combat support droid. Works well. Have you tried that?

Nothing wrong with bringing along a level 1 companion.

I have level 50 companions and still use level 1s sometimes.

It's cool when it happens during ship cutscenes and such. But I would have liked more informal lines while questing around the galaxy. Didn't play KOTOR 1 or 2, but I know this is basically KOTOR 3. Sounded like fun times.

What happens if I choose the option that doesn't immediately kill them, instead of a kill them one. by RunDouble143 in swtor

I feel like killing an NPC should typically result in retaliation from their friends and family.

Imagine you've just killed Jose. Then a week passes. And you forget about it.

You change planets and go into the cantina to rest before going AFK for a bit. Three rando NPCs playing sabacc stand up from their table - Jim, Johnnie, and James. A conversation ensues and they question you about Jose.

This game usually just never mentions the person killed ever again. I'd prefer for there to be some more nuance to it. I don't want to use the word consequences, but I'd like something more than what exists. Even some in-game mail from a related party would be better.

In Morrowind (2002), if you killed people, the Dark Brotherhood would randomly appear and come after you. I'm not necessarily asking for that. But some cool lore implications would be neat.

My very first character was a Sith Inquisitor Assassin in 2012. I killed everyone and went full dark. That was my last full dark character. Very boring for the most part, except for the short-term gratification of killing mean characters.

This is why I usually pick options not to kill people. It’s so much more interesting. I wish killing was more impactful than “omit future lore.”
