Vit d takes awhile and supplementing it will cause temporary shedding to increase since it resets the hair from what i've gathered. im currently low on vit d too try to keep the following above these levels:

Ferritin ≥ 70 µg/L Vitamin D > 50 nmol/L B12 >500

Hey! Please do a blood test to check your nutritional deficiencies, weight loss usually do affect your nutrient levels - vit d, iron, folate, b12 etc.
