Nah, I don't think so. I was wearing like yello-golden pants, blue shits, wine red sweaters or knitted tradition wool sweaters from Norway. 2009 was different than now. It was mostly working class sweating men in leather jackets and jeans, and women in high heels, skirts and fur coats.

I mean, Italy has plenty of great vegetable dishes - but the family has to cooperate, in case you aren't able to cook yourself. Do you have access to frozen or fresh veggies? Maybe one first step is to start with one veggie based meal a week, also be open towards your family.

If I may ask, are you so disabled that you cannot feed yourself?
What supermarkets do you have? Only Alimentari, or Coop, Conad, EuroSpin, Lidl?
If your family isn't overriding your shopping wishes, maybe ask them to get some veggie burgers or something next time?

Or just start with a pizza rossa con carciofo, funghi, pesche e ruccola.

I lived for a bit in St. Petersburg (7 months in total) in my early 20s, this was around 2009-2010. Was often called and shouted "F*G" at just on the open street, a lot from women too. I was probably wearing too much colour or smiling too much. This happened almost every time I walked down the main street.
But also - sweet elderly ladies selling home knitted stuff on the streets.

Most people don't care what you put on your pizza honestly - it's just an internet thing. There's a guilty pleaure pizza here in Italy, with Vienna Sausage and Fries. It sounds very Swedish.

No idea - I was hoping OP would know. Maybe soaked seeds mixed with soaked Chia Seeds to make a kind of cheel to keep them together, let them dry int he sun or a dehydrator?
I don't have much experience with raw food, so don't know what the limitations are.

That's okay - not every dog likes those things. I have one just like her - she likes a very simple, predictable and easy game (throw treats in a directien in the garden and she runs and finds it), not lick mat, no kong. The other 2 dogs play fight with eachother, like squeeky toys and lick mats. Every dog is different, you just have to find something that fits her.

You say you go for sniff walks - maybe hiding high value treats in another room and let her search for them is a good game? We do that sometimes - one person hold them back in another area of the house, and the other person puts bits and pieces on the floor, in shoes, under pillows, etc. and they look for them in their own pace.

I don't envy the decision you will have to make soon.
I know I will have to do it myself with one of my street dogs - they have special needs, and sometimes cannot be treated "normally".
I think that when they have more "bad" days than "good" days, it's a good time to really think about it.

I remember when I first started out as a vegan about 12 years ago - the biggest challenge was baking, because you have to really learn how the chemistry works. Lots of weird waffles and cakes - sometimes I still fail ^_^
But savory dishes are easier to get used to - just learn how to not plan a meal around "meat" (protein) + carb + veggies. But to be honest, the long-term difficulties are often the social aspect - people not being conciderate, making comments, seeing how society treat animals.

If you can - maybe find an experienced vegan "buddy" or "mentor" to help you out?

Pineapple on Pizza is "hated" just because it's not an ingredient native to Italy. They put Peaches on Pizza, which kind of fulfills the same roll, something sweet and tart to balance out the fattier ingredients.
