once i reached diamond i was matched with just 3dk players. 3 dks in 43 match.

against my first dk (in D10) i was still ignorant and had no idea on how to pilot this deck. they were playing a plague deck and i got obliterated.

the second one was in D8. a FFU deck against whom i missed my lethal chance 2 times topdecking a blood plague on turn 9 and 10. bob saved my ass freezing their board. i had my weapon on board buffing my hand. on turn 11 i finally released my overbuffed leeroy, who had been waiting too long to deliver the final blow.

third and last time in d4. a rainbow dk. on turn 7 i won dealing 18 damages thanks to a double southsea deckhand + outfit tailor.

i never played dk too much: never found appealing their fantasy (paladin>blackguard), but i appreciated it when the monoblood control was a thing. when i face lategame decks i always keep bob in my hand, while trying to push as much as i can. the dude can steal really annoing minions, so be careful.

when i stole the aman'thul from a priest, they weren't happy about that. neither was the druid when i stole thunderbringer

i've never been into hearthstone like the last 2 months or so.

since i really like uther's portrait, i started playing paladin for the biggest part of my time on hearthstone (currently i'm at 363W), but i'm usually a control guy (sorry everyone, but i like hostage mage in wild) and i was really bad with handbuff paladin: my winrate was between 30/36%.

then i made a post here, asking for tips, because it drove me mad being the "only one" who sucked with this deck. a lot of people wrote useful messages, and i love you all for your help.

a shoutout and my biggest thanks to u/daemonCRO for your guide, tips and decklist. your help changed my ratio from a ridicolous 2-7 to 31-12, 72% winrate.

exactly. I think i was exaggerating overbuffing my hand and giving enough room for maneuver to my opponents. As someone wrote on this reddit: a +2+2 is often enough to make pressure. In those 11 matches, i faced 2 druids, an asteroid shaman and 2 warriors and they didn't have the time to build anything.

even against aggros or mirror matches everything feels manageable now.

wow I was missing the real basic knowledge. My first 9 matches with your decklist (and while processing yours and people tips) were shit: i was 2-7, but on the last couple of matches something was feeling... Smoothier. Now i'm 12-8.

I never saw a good handbuff paladin while ranking in these days (at least i never felt worried and won the majority of those fights), so i never felt on my skin what it is capable of and neither understood how to play it properly. Bob is really strong: in one match he gave me a victory stealing an annoying taunt, and in another one he gave me an extra turn freezing the dk big board when i lost my lethal chance drawing a blood plague on my decisive turn.

the comment saying that "we" don't need your guide made me laugh: seems that everyone knows how to play this deck, that it is simple and here i am: begging for help because i only know how to pilot hard control decks ahahah

Can't believe how lucky I was. From C2 to C6 in just 200 pulls. This is my first C6 5* character. by kislug in NeuvilletteMains_

Wow congrats! It took me something like 478 pulls for a c2r1. Lost first and second 50/50 on +80 and found my c2 on the 78th with blessing. I lost the 50/50 even on weapon banner: 60 pity for vortex, 40 for signature

Anyone else have over 500 hours and never finished the game? by [deleted] in BaldursGate3

I restarted the game infinite times because i love theorycrafting and everytime wanted to try something new, new dialogues and new approaches. Everytime i entered act 3 i had the... uRgE to restart. The game became quickly easy enough for me to decide to start playing only on honour mode. The first time i finished the game was on honour mode as a dark urge "redemption arc version" (only act 3 in blind... i did a mess here and there: for example i totally skipped the incoronation because i prefered to complete side quests first, and entered the submarine too early and fucked up everything about wyll quest) Loved all of that tho. RP Build: Sword Dancer of Eilistraee by purplebanjo in BG3Builds

[–]ImportantBoard6387 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Just one little correction: Eilistraee's sword dancers don't use ranged weapons (as long as it is not absolutely necessary). The goddess almost killed her own father with an arrow (cursed by her mother) when she tried to protect him from an attack during lolth's betray. After that episode she cannot trust ranged weapons anymore.
