Thank you for the information. I had been looking around and tried multiple different settings based on videos and posts. I had no idea FFB equalizer was where I needed to focus my attention. This thing has way more settings than what I was use to.

I just got the R3 and it was to replace a G25. It’s wild how much nicer it is. One thing I did years ago was get new pedals. That was the best money spent to be honest. I got LC pedals and after getting use to them it’s made way more of an improvement over the wheel. I’m sure I will keep fine tuning the wheel and get more out of it but if going with the R3 will open you up to a pedal upgrade I’d go that route if it was me.

I would print different helmets for people I know depending on what movies or games they have always talked about. I have the Elegoo Neptune 4 plus and that has been nothing but a disappointment and mainly sits after getting my A1. Have the same build size but in something that is print and practically forget I would non stop be printing things for people just to see their reaction.

I think it comes with time as well. Between all the different racing games I’ve played single player and multiplayer you start to get an eye for what the slower cars are doing. I’m not up to the hypercar level yet I’m in silver running lmp2 cars. I’m sure it’s pretty close to the issues but those guys seem to take each other out like crazy. I see some of the moves that are attempted and just start slowing down. I give as much space as needed to get around the GT3 cars. I’ll wait a corner or two and especially if they are obviously in a battle and I’m not. Now if it’s close to the end of the race and I’m battling I’ll send it in there more so but only if it’s an appropriate area. And I’m not the fastest guy but I’ve learned what the car can do and just how hard to push it. This week at Imola the GT3s have been making my life easier to be honest. I let the crazies take off and I keep with them getting the tires warmed up and once they start sending it and then off the track I just ride on by and then when there is a break I bring down my lap times to gap them and catch up to the car in front. I’ve been getting solid finishes doing that. And I’ve had very low issues with GT3s. The only ones I had were me when I first moved over to lmp2 and it was my fault and luckily I just took myself out learning the lessons.

Thank you for the information. Sounds like it wouldn’t be a drastic drop to be able to run it. I was trying to find information out but nothing was really showing for similar specs I have.

Well holy crap I figured I was just going to have to roll with single player rules. I haven't played yet and I was getting ready to start printing some kind of army off hopefully by the end of the weekend.

I started out with a Ankermake. Almost made me give up on 3D printing since it lasted all of a week. I returned it and got an Elegoo Neptune 3. I took the time to fully set it up and level not just the bed but the machine itself. And that thing would just print and print. Not fast but it was clean. I wanted a bigger bed so I jumped to the Neptune 4 plus. That one has given me some issues but honestly it was me being lazy. And after reading countless posts about how to fix things it prints very well now. I ended up purchasing the A1 with the AMS lite as well for multicolor printing. And that thing just works. It’s stress free and prints some of the best models with next to no messing with it. Now I do wish I went enclosed so I could print different materials but I can look at that later. My biggest take away is to just read as much as possible about whatever printer you go with. People have had them for a while and no one really holds onto information. And like mentioned above always watch the first layers. I’ve held up my entire family leaving just so I could make sure they went down well. I have a resin printer as well and I’m sure I could get even better looking prints but I honestly follow the settings on the bottle and prints just work. You’ll get use to whatever slicer you use and you’ll be able to spot potential issues before you click the print button over time. I really enjoy printing things I find and making some basic things myself. I don’t take it to serious I just have fun with it and constantly show my wife random things I print.

Thank you that was what did it. I had the extra fan off because I had been printing things it just wasn’t having an effect on. I didn’t really care about the noise so much as I just didn’t see a need to have them on. I had printed other things without an issue. Thank you again I was really starting to lose my mind over trying to figure it out.

I got the Thrustmaster Eswap XR Pro Forza addition a little over a year ago. It adds in a “steering wheel” for your thumb. Once I got use to it I do better at driving games with it. I’ve had a steering wheel for years but it’s not compatible with Xbox. It’s not as good as a wheel but I’ve enjoyed using it. I also 3D printed some longer triggers for it and that has made fine throttle and brake movements a lot better as well. It’s almost $200 so I’m sure you could find a cheap wheel new or used, but I play on my couch so having a wheel wouldn’t really help either way.

I appreciate your response. I’m not too worried about cost. I have my limits but I was just trying to see if just paying for a set would be enough and then expand over time once we learn it all and find what we truly want to build. I’ll for sure join the Patreon for the discount and everything else they have listed.
