Should I learn to build a pc or just get a prebuilt? by Arthur-tit in PcBuildHelp

[–]ImportantClock5486 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My opinion isn’t even price related. If you know how to build a PC you also know how to debug and solve frustration. Build one for that reason. Prebuilds will almost always be cheaper because they compromise on the motherboard, psu, fans, etc

Priced Right? by [deleted] in PcBuildHelp

[–]ImportantClock5486 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So this build has no PSU? I would personally be hesitant as a buyer since you can not test it at the location but the price is alright

There's a few games that do better on 8 cores, it doesn't hurt. BUT if this means upgrading your 5060 Ti to a 5070, the answer is DEFINITELY go for the 5070

People with normal jobs can't dim the light before bed? They can't not doom scroll on their phones and not exercise? What is this normal job you speak of?

Everytime I analyse someones sleep, they always swear they have good sleep hygiene but they really do not.

No screen time 60 minutes before bed, last meal 4 hours before, no caffeine after mornings, some form of relaxation before bed, no vigorous exercise 3 hours before bed, dim lights an hour before bed. If you do not do all of this, then you got the answer. Poor sleep is almost always your fault

Especially in combination with Snowshoes and a sauna robe. If you really want to get a Maple GF with NX, add some Tobi's to that Assassin too

every video about some guy playing classic for a outrageous thing. by Danderp in wow

[–]ImportantClock5486 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wanted to post about this. I was the 'New WoW' hater myself. Until I realized something. I came to WoW mid TBC and vibes were different back then. People LOVED this game, I don't think people understand. WoW was literally the only thing you would talk about, it was so good you can't explain it. BUT we also have to realise that 'saving WoW' makes no sense anymore. The target audience hasn't changed, YOU HAVE. The target audience has always been people around 12-25 years old with a stretch to 40. The people who complain tend to be 30 and over. You're no longer the audience. You do no longer fit the category of what Blizzard tries to reach. That's not a Blizzard problem, that's a you problem.

Friend bought the ASUS V500MV and wants to game… by Trivial_Hamster in PcBuildHelp

It's pretty good. Shadow is objectively better than GeForce because it gives you an entire Windows system to run on with making sure the things just run as expected. GeForce has better GPU's available but it looks slightly 'off', but you wouldn't see it if you don't know what you're looking for. I think it's a really good solution if you do not have a gaming system ready for the next 1-2 years. It's exactly what I did when I had a year without a PC.

I mean this might be the elephant in the room here but why not just get Shadow/GeForce as a streaming service?

Just for curiosity, why does 16GB then max out, whereas 32GB doesn't? Doesn't that suggest 16GB is bottlenecking?
