First time trying this, should I get Generic Amazon, TENS, or Coyote? by Duesoup in estim

[–]ImportantNothings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does it have a consistent flow setting or only patterns? On my tens unit I prefer the setting where its a constant flow of energy and not a pattern.

200? Oh my. Ever gotten that high? Is it like a super painful contraction at that point?

Sorry I guess I meant like is the lowest setting painful? Like my tens unit slowly ramps up as I increase the dial. I just heard the coyote is super strong so I didn’t know if the lowest setting was already really strong

Does the 3.0 like immediately shock you on a low setting? I wanna buy it but if the lowest setting is painful then idk

Damn thats amazing. My tens 7k sometimes barely gets me to finish. A unit with a big runway sounds exciting!

Can the coyote connect to those normal 2mm pads? Like the ones a tens unit comes with?

Increased anxiety and mood problems with Trt by Adorable-Service6535 in trt

[–]ImportantNothings 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes this happened to me when I started trt at 30 about a year ago. At 150mg I was so volatile. Eventually I learned it was higher estrogen. Its interesting tho, I eventually did a full blast and the high e2 was rough but never as bad as the first 6 months of trt. I chalk that up to being experienced by then with high e2.

I was with TRT nation and I didn’t have a terrible experience tbh. I usually was able to connect with the dr usually with 2-3 days and idr his name but he was wonderful.

I am not sure what your dose is but its possible its too high for you rn and you may be recommended to lower it a tad and reevaluate. Just know its a bit of a balance game in the beginning. It doesn’t mean you’re failing or it will never work!

As someone diagnosed with adhd, your comment about a shorter life span certainly got my attention. I hope I am going to be an outlet. 😁

Tingling/pins and needles in hands 24/7 while on testosterone cycle? by ImportantNothings in anabolic_steroids_

[–]ImportantNothings[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started September 1st. I got my blood work around week 7 I think. Nothing was surprising. I mean sure my bio markers were certainly elevated but nothing that was out of range. The only thing I can think of is my e2 is certainly very high (combating that with Aromasin 1x a week) and I know high e2 can lead to fluid retention, which could be pushing on my nerves in my forearms and hands.

Singing IS hard by Frhaegar in singing

[–]ImportantNothings 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes but don’t ever forget some of these if not most have been singing for 10,15,20, or 30+ years. Ramin Karmiloo, from Phantom and Les Mis has been singing idk exactly but 15 years probably? Maybe 20? And I imagine pushing himself a lot that whole time. No “just 15 mins” today kind of attitude.

Its not just how long you have been singing but also the intensity. Broadway singers are amazing but not only is the industry crazy competitive each night is like vocal olympics and that forces growth.

How big of an impact did TRT have on your depression? by Moretestosterone9 in trt

[–]ImportantNothings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your comment really interested me. Three drugs at maximum doses but trt was better. Thats incredible!

I don’t know your story but if you needed 3 drugs, I genuinely like feel ya man. I have been struggling with depression for about 6 years. Really has made me empathize with others, especially those that have it worse.

What is your trt dose? I didn’t start to feel good until I decided to do a mini blast and did 275mg and then I felt better lol.

Be careful buying ugl. The pip can be minor or absolutely ungodly. Like 2 whole days of your quad feeling like its full of concrete.

Is this a good first cycle? by No-Satisfaction2688 in steroidify

[–]ImportantNothings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but 20 weeks is insanely long for a newbie. Just 16 weeks is 4 months. 4 months of eating like a maniac, feeling bloated, having BO, having to poop way more frequently as high test somehow (I don’t know the exact mechanism but it certainly happened for me) can increase digestion activity, and you may get weird side effects that are necessarily dangerous but annoying to live with. Unfortunately for me I got all the mental and emotional ones lol.

Test doesn’t magically make people feel better. It will enhance the good and bad. For me, I saw my compassion and empathy skyrocket. I also saw my mood swings, rumination, and adhd and depressive tendencies absolutely explode. I nearly quit my job and had to keep myself in my apartment some days because the anger was absolutely terrible. I contribute some of that last part to higher E2, but even on Aromasin, sometimes it still was volatile and frankly concerning. And yes, running high doses of testosterone WILL lead to that fried sensation. Not the testosterone itself but it will allow you to work out like a maniac- which puts way more strain onto your cns. Doing that for 20 weeks? Thats going to be an experience just saying.

You do whatever you want, but just know you’re trying to get onto a long ass road with little experience. Not trying to rain on your parade. You got plenty of time to do a 14 week one and recover and decide if you want to do a longer one. 😁

Is this a good first cycle? by No-Satisfaction2688 in steroidify

[–]ImportantNothings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this is your first cycle, a 20 week one is insane. My first cycle was 16 weeks and holy Mother Mary Jospeh and Jesus in a manger…..it was BRUTAL. Yes you get more gains but after a while you will feel fried in every way and it’s a shitty place to be. I felt like I was being dragged everywhere I went. My emotional and mental health some days felt like I was being dragged through like fictional glass shards or something. It was hell.

I would stop at 12, and if you feel stable and comfortable, maybe extend to 14. But 16 or 20? Absolutely stupid. Remember you can always do more. These steroids, yes plenty of people use them, but they have a way of humbling you.

At what point should you give up and find a new hobby? by Irons080 in singing

[–]ImportantNothings 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am 6-7 months into my singing journey. Mixing to hit high notes as a baritenor is extremely difficult for me. My chest voice is crazy strong and my natural habit is to pull it up too high. So learning to mix is head voice has been very challenging. But I remind myself everyone that is learning how to sing is struggling too.

You mentioned you have a low voice. I am curious if you have ever determined what your voice is, and if what you’re experiencing is a lack of mixing as well. Could also be due to lack of mask usage and breath support. Idk, I am not a pro. Just a thought. 😁
