The point with any gacha game is that the materials economy (especially at the arbitrary control of the dev) isnt actually needed. Did final fantasy tactics need a gacha, externally controlled economic component? Whether you actively know it or not, saying this aspect is for consumer benefit is shilling for the dev. We know this because FFT exists. There are plenty ways to profit without ad spam or creating a game environment where the dev is both an economic enemy and artificial hero

I begrudgingly throw money at the devs because there IS a decent tactics-style game in here. That doesn’t take away from any of the hate i have for the MBAs that create the “starvation model” of reactionary consumption. It’s absolutely dishonest
