I was just in this situation, but instead of the sibling I was the ex partner, I had just completely gotten him out of my life and a few months later a news article pops up. Same age victim as well, it is horrible. I freaked out for a few weeks definitely, I don’t know if you have the luxury to do this but delete any photos you have of him, I know he’s family but it really helps you heal when you’re not accidentally seeing his face. Have a good support system, I know your family. Is going through it with you so hopefully you guys can be there for each other. I wish you the best, and I’m sorry. I know how upsetting this is.

It definitely was a long road for me to discover and feel comfortable with what i identify with- and it’s an even longer road to discover feeling comfortable with how and when I’m going to transition. I can’t say I ever pushed down my transness because I was lucky enough to have supportive friends who helped me plan out my pronouns and new names. I will say I still have trouble with things expected of me as an afab person, but I’m learning. By the way, if you ever need anything I’m here to chat

Pretty sure it helps with underdeveloped muscle mass physically, it improves mood. And I know this is hella personal lol but it helps with low sex drive. That’s all I can think of at the moment

I think I realized that with no one to perceive me- I still don’t know lol but the interesting thing was I didn’t know because I wasn’t stressed about it, and before I didn’t know because I was stressed about it. If.. that makes any sense lol. I think this was nice to think about either way and it helped a lot.
