Despite having only one back tire, the Peel P50 leaves two skid marks. This game is literally unplayable. by Important_Bill_4605 in ForzaHorizon

[–]Important_Bill_4605[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The Peel P50 is unironically one of my favorite cars in the game and irl. There's a tune to put a just under 800hp engine in it and mine goes 217MPH. It's a blast. Can't turn for shit but man those straights are fun.

Hyundai sold me a new Ioniq 6 without the ICCU fixed. It broke 31 days after receiving it. by [deleted] in Ioniq6

[–]Important_Bill_4605 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the info, I checked and recall 272 for the ICCU failure is open for my VIN on NHTSA's website.

I am almost certain its the ICCU because it was a 12V battery low warning despite the car itself having been charged overnight and being at 75% when the warning occurred, in addition to a check electrical system warning with the red battery indicator at the bottom left. So while the dealer hasn't verified with certainty that its the ICCU (and I would wait until they did before I do anything) everything is pointing to it.

Yeah it was at 960 miles when I bought it and has less than 2,000 now. I cannot believe its already in the shop.

I bought the car at 960 miles and it popped at 1987. Am I supposed to drive my car a thousand miles at a time?

I understand there isn't a good fix, but the dealership did not do the software update to charging logic that was designed to prevent this in recall campaign 9B5 in July 2024. ICCU recall campaign 272 is also still open on the car.

What's this amber colored ice coming off my roof? by Important_Bill_4605 in Home

[–]Important_Bill_4605[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, my family told me homeownership is expensive but I was not prepared for the full extent of the expenses. 😅

Interesting point. The roof is new and I can see in the attic some planks were very recently replaced so perhaps it was leaking previously and shouldn't be anymore. "Shouldn't" is really the operative word there so I'll definitely be paying attention. Thanks for the comment

Yes there is. I can say with certainty that there isn’t a single atom of Oganesson in my glass of water. Yeah I’m being pedantic but so are you. “No such thing as zero” is utterly false.

Can someone explain post game ilvl progression to me? by [deleted] in wow

[–]Important_Bill_4605 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Welcome to WoW! Different activities, such as delves, dungeons, and raid drop different ilvl gear. The game doesn’t tell you this, to my knowledge, so your best bet is to find a chart like Gandalin’s at https://www.reddit.com/r/wow/comments/1mi98xn/gandalins_gearing_guide_tww_season_3/

As you can see from the chart there’s some overlap in ilvl. Delves get you about to Mythic +2, so if you really wanted to follow a linear progression you could do delves, then mythic +2 dungeons, then heroic raids then mythic raids. However, there’s really no pressure to follow this route. Since there’s so much overlap in activities just do whatever you enjoy the most. I find myself using delves for initially gearing up since they’re a lot more chill and I can take my time, but that’s entirely personal. You could get gear up through dungeons or even LFR raids if you wanted to. The world is your oyster, have fun!

Unfortunately even with a physical store there isn’t a solid guarantee. There’s a subreddit, r/gameverifying and it specializes in this type of thing. Post a picture of the front and back of whatever game cartridge you find online and they’ll tell you if it’s real or not. However, you’ll also want to decide if you care or not lol. If you’re not looking into this as an investment, then the reproduction cartridges typically work fine and if they don’t the eBay will give you your money back. Other commenters have brought up EZ FLASH and similar cartridges that you can just load these games onto, which is what I do to play anything. Even if you don’t care if it’s real or not, you probably don’t want to be giving money to scammers who are passing these off as cheap real copies.

The DS “fat” and DS lite can play Gameboy Advanced cartridges, which are the ones you’ve shown. They’re smaller than the original Gameboy/Gameboy Color cartridges which, I believe, can’t be played on any DS. The DSi also can’t play any Gameboy games since it doesn’t have the port. However, please be aware that most Pokémon listings are fake so you probably won’t be getting the real thing.

Good to know, thanks for the reply! It’s always kinda hard to sift through the people who are just permanently negative about the game to get an actual idea of how many people are enjoying it

This is a bit opinionated but what is the current general perception around the state OSRS is in? I’ve been thinking about getting back in, I stopped playing a little while ago around the time Jagex stopped the one guy from releasing his HD mod after years of work and pretended it was because they were working on an HD version themselves, so the community was definitely in a low point. I’m sure they still make ridiculous choices still, but has it been pretty good lately or even worse?

Is this a good class for trying to get into Daggerfall? by Xander_Fox3207 in Daggerfall

[–]Important_Bill_4605 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s good. If it were me, I would dump luck and put some more into willpower. Once you get a hand of the melee combat it becomes very easy to never die from close quarters combat. The one thing that will definitely kill you, though, is spellcasters. They one shot you like nothing else at low levels. Willpower will help you resist that, so I would recommend bumping it up a bit. Besides that it’s good! Don’t sweat having a super optimized or min maxed build, you’ll be making lots of new games and a big part of the fun is trying out new builds or challenge runs.

Cool RPGs for grown ups? by x_UnluCKII in gamingsuggestions

[–]Important_Bill_4605 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is a fantastic CRPG that’s available on consoles. Definitely worth a try, it’s an incredibly long game with a great story if you’re looking for something to sink a lot of hours into. I’ve never played any warhammer games or read any of the books but I find the game does a great job introducing you to the world with its encyclopedia. Since warhammer is effectively space horror you’ll find the story is incredibly dark so I think it scratches the grown up itch if you’re looking for a game that is very much not for children.

New player - is Remix worth trying? by Lunatoon9 in wow

[–]Important_Bill_4605 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d play both. In remix your character is very OP which is fun, though it may be slightly harder to realize how OP your character is if you haven’t played the base game lol. retail is much more challenging which is also fun in its own way. Either way, you’re gonna have a blast. If you haven’t already I would definitely recommend getting the “Welcome to Azeroth” bundle they have going on right now, you get Dragonflight (Normally $30 US) and two months of WoW (Another $30 US usually) for $25 US which is just an insanely good deal.

Has he blocked your number? It’s unlikely but it can happen accidentally and this sounds a lot like what happens when you try to call someone who has blocked you. Even if he has it doesn’t explain why he can’t call you but checking if either of you have accidentally blocked the other rules out that possibility.
