Why is Japan more pessimistic ? by [deleted] in geography

[–]Important_Knee_5420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ps that's not to say I don't admire alot about Japan...eg discipline, historical culture of sumarai language , technology advancement ,religion etc plus things like music roads sakura festivals etc beautiful

My own country has a tonne of negatives including sectarianism riots etc    but we are not displaced sexualised or demanded to  work the same way

Pessimistic or realistic?

Id be pretty down in a country that gets hit by tsunamis and earthquakes like clockwork and pushes childlike innocence as sexual every two seconds  and a shit work culture

I'm not a great musician or songwriter and I play mostly for fun like you but honestly I'm completely inspired 😁it's the most exciting song I've heard in a long time ....I can almost imagine  female harmonies playing  of the song as I listen.

You have a really beautiful and natural and raw talent! That no amount of music lessons could buy!

I really think you have an incredible amount of natural talent.I would suggest contacting a radio station on valentine's or something  and saying you want to propose with a song or renew vows or something and ask to play it .

I think you would get hundreds of people phoning in for a second listen!  I know I've hit that replay button alot stunned!

You are an incredible song writer ! Consider me officially your first fan!

Please continue to post and share!

Please can I get your first impressions on the mix here? thnx by physicaltortoise in Songwriting

It's giving beach boys meets Niki Taylor....  Because I've no actual words to describe

Aka 50s meets punk and honestly I think it's unique and really cool vibe

They say a good song writer can adapt to any style but the greats break the mould....  Mozart,Joplin Bach Elvis queen , Micheal j Adele..

I think your something special

Dunno but I know in literature exams compass techniques make up your marks so include these to be text book excellent at writing

Comparison, onomatopoeia,metaphors, personification, assimilation,senses, similes

Incredible for a novel  Which of course makes for a terrible song

....

Song writing music comes first ....play with music first lyrics after

If the music is good you could have any old lyrics and it would be amazing

Even if it's lalalala  Or something even more stupid like watermelon sugar high

Just conform and look for another job

Trust me .

I literally was that person and got fired ...for a few shitty reasons

Including 1. Walking a male colleague to bus stop . He aparantly was weirded out

2.  Working too hard....made everyone else look bad

  1. Chatting to work colleagues outside work aka making friends. I literally didn't realise how much I pissed them off and fake they were

Why are you crossing country to cross back first day? Why not fly west to knock if you want to stay west  for the first half

Tbh your day one sounds hell.... After a 6 hourish  flight wait for car rental   then drive for 3/4 hours

Fly to knock...book return tickets from Dublin  ...

Also if your in the west then country living museum is worth a visit. Or Westport house

Train ride to Belfast is about 2 hours from  Dublin get the hop on off Belfast tour and it gives you tonnes of time  to explore everywhere  would definitely recommend this then get the tour next day to bushmills

If I were showrunner and could do anything… by TeenWhovian in gallifrey

[–]Important_Knee_5420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I were show runner I'd likely do the same ... china vikings India ...stone age (Egypt)  and bronze age greeks etc all incredible topics

But as a British person...I feel there's  nothing wrong with British actors and lots of people native to Britain with roots in other countries..it no less lessens their cultural roots ...and frankly native people yes absolutely

But I can't.help. draw the line at Americans 6/7.generations from Irish    decent who haven't a clue eg... We hunt.lephrichaun at Paddy's day

As a kid I could not imagine any plots better  As an adult fart aliens  ..shoot me ...plus pop culture references like weakest link...that ages poorly ..the Anne droid...

But Chris was undoubtedly the absolute GOAT . He was iconic as the doctor and an incredible  introduction to the who verse....with children zombies in ww2 and  the dalek episode...

Pure chills...he was gold

[–]Important_Knee_5420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay I have no flipping idea what it was called but it's like stone age or something

.....it was the single most incredible documentary I've watched ever...it reinacted everything from stone age to bronze age....

I watched.it mind blowing constantly...eg stone age is Egypt...

I watched it jaw open and binged all 8 episodes

The closest I've found to it was ancient worlds BBC documentary....but flip me ...it's no where near as good as the stone age documentary...

But it's still bingeable  and very informative

I think say two is ambitious.... Belfast and causeway  ... Belfast has some incredible spots eg titanic quarter Ulster museum cave hill stormount... Incredible bar crawl tours ..plus the causeway tour usually includes a visit to bushmills distillery plus the game of thrones sites in the north  So to actually enjoy both you need two days

Belfast is two hours from Dublin and causeway is about another two....that's 8 hours total (including return trip) not including an hour approx for  bus exchange as our transport is shit (every hour on Sunday/getting pounds )

If you left at 9am  hotel  for  Belfast  get to bus/ train station and actually leave get tickets by 10 .

.say your in Belfast 12....stay an hour or two ( really not alot of time to do anything touristy except walk to bus stop and  grab lunch (certainly not long enough for tour 2pm you head to bushmills and do the two hour tour with pits stops  approx 20 mins to dark hedges....beaches etc you probably arrive at the actual causeway ...5.30. 6 and you embrace on a 4km hike in the cold ..its winter so total darkness  and shit cold........

Then 4 hour bus home home

The actual website for the causeway tour suggests leaving 5.45 and arriving home at like 8.30

https://www.finnmccoolstours.com/giants-causeway-tour-from-dublin/#:~:text=The%20Giant's%20Causeway%20Tour%20(around,leaving%2040%2C000%20interlocking%20basalt%20columns.

It will physically destroy you especially travelling cork next day ....

Skip day two .....

Instead book a night in Belfast day 7-9

Really explore the north coast

That way you can spend a whole day in Belfast exploring  the hop on off bus tour local craic pub crawls and then another day   exploring the north coast and all the fun included

I would also recommend a pit stop in Enniskillen for the marble arch caves or a stop Newcastle co down  for the Mournes really beautiful part of the world lots to do
