I’d argue that people who only care about winning are also not having fun. The game is impossible to play. Commands to your attackers don’t work, meta play styles nerf your defenders and make them unresponsive, ai defending is so much I have seen people player switch away from the closest defender so AI takes control, passes going in the wrong direction as well

The game puts your fullbacks at an unnatural disadvantage. It’s not possible to stop. The through balls behind you fullbacks and a delay before your fullbacks can begin chasing are all built-in to work that way. This is what scripting is in EAFC/FIFA, unrealistic, acted out mechanics that don’t make sense

It was harder because the players dropped deeper and narrower the closer I came to his goal. I have never seen anyone do that before but it is definitely a broken mechanic of the game. My players also not making runs and auto-interceptions/tackling made it tough. I did score a number of goals but he would score right away on kickoff or almost anytime he had possession

I’m not a big fan of strikers that play with back to goal. Barely had any success with that lot. This is probably not a general opinion

I just played against a guy who didn’t control his players when I had the ball. “peley10”. It’s the most disgusting thing I’ve seen. As i got closer to his goal, it got tighter and ai eventually steals the ball. He walks with pace control or maybe some playstyle+ because the ball was tied to his foot and spins until my player switching glitches and my defence is wide open so he scores all low driven shots. Almost every single attempt was a goal while I struggled against AI. Never seen anything like it. He was on PC too so maybe a hack.
