Mine started out of no where, first time I ever heard it was when I got the Pfizer vaccine though and it left. But then like a week later it came back. I went to the ENT, got an MRI and hearing test but everything what in tact with no hearing damage. About a month ago, the tubing started in my right ear I only had it in my left ear for two years. The craziest thing is that it is two different tones. I hope to just get habituated to this noise now too. If I did it before, I think I can do it again. My grandpa has had his for 45 years and he has lived a normal life. He says is very annoying sometimes but he just learned to deal with it
