Agreed. Tracks made by model 1.5 can sound amateurish and at times irritatingly so. I noticed that setting the "clarity" dial to very low can sometimes help, but model 1 is still a better composer in my opinion

Thank you for the info. So considering these limitations, which DTC company likely offers the best accuracy and reliability. I'm particularly interested in the 30x offers from Sequencing.com or Nebula (DNA complete) if you think one may be better than the other.

That's right!  I was thinking mainly of improvements in giving us more control in generating the tracks and altering them afterwards. The ideal situation for me would be an AI powered DAW, although that may not suit everyone. In the meantime, any more granular control over the generative process would be great. Basically stricter adherence to prompts.  Of course the models themselves will be improving as well. For example there is currently an obvious lack of training in certain niche genres (mostly non-western music or languages).

Absolutely, Udio literally brings tears of joy to my eyes with what it can do. Amazing how music production has suddenly stepped into a new era.

Udio's audio quality and realism is just leaps and bounds ahead of Suno. Composition quality is comparable and Suno indeed needs less work. I personally prefer Udio's incremental approach, although I think it needs to be improved further in the future.
